So if you recall we have "star wars(treck)" as a thread in knight's watch. now shad is talking about doing a sci-fy series of books and what not in general. The demand for sci-fy is increasing I say they need their own corner

The starwars and Tolkien threads exist as containment because the way both topics take over entire sections of server annoys people. If you want to discuss the sci-fi genre we have plenty of channels already

Personally, I think a general Sci-Fi channel should be separate from Shad's "All Star" books.
All Sci-Fi is a big topic. Where as Shad's books are their own thing. One topic will end up drowning out the other.

Yeah I never understood why Star (Trek) Wars and Tolkien were just threads in Knights Watch and not channels
