#

put your heads together and lets make something workable!

#

Idea by: @west root
Brainstormed by: @pure gull @flint arch

#

this is also open to others to imagine what's possible

pure gull
#

anyone wanna give ideas on how some pin cards can play?

reef granite
#

What are the base mechanics for this concept

lusty yarrow
#

Basically funny monsters beat each other up on a 4x4 grid

#

And you can play pins to block other team

#

You also play monsters

lusty yarrow
#

I don't know the details however

pale blade
#

Do we know how the funny monsters beat eachother up?

lusty yarrow
#

Not really

#

All smite gave

#

Was attacks

#

I am assuming you choose a monstrr

#

Then when it is played

#

You can use one of its attacks

#

The pins probably do something to help or stop it idk

#

You can also play zones

#

And then their subzones on top I think

pale blade
#

So pins are like item cards in the pokemon tcg

lusty yarrow
#

Kind of

#

These are part of the tcg I think

#

I think the colored parts are zones idk

pale blade
#

It's confusing me in so many ways

lusty yarrow
#

Me too

#

I think it is supposed to look like patch quests map

#

The things off to the side could mean special areas

flint arch
#

the red and blue squares on the map are the base camps the yellow points are areas of intrest and the green squares are ammo bush locations

reef granite
#

I feel like the pins should be more like items instead of blockades, allows you to do more interesting concepts with them.

lusty yarrow
#

What do ammo bushes do?

pure gull
#

You win when you drop your opponent's HP to zero.
Each round each player gets a certain amount of EP (Energy Points) that can upgrade a monster(bronze/silver/gold crown) when placing it on the field.
There are zone cards that give buffs to monsters of the same zone. Each one takes 2 EP to use.
There are treasure cards that can give monsters extra abilities.
Each player gets a random ammo fruit every 5 rounds (rolls a d6 to get one) and can use it as the explorer without needing any monsters to help. Each ammo has different effects.
Monster cards have 4 stats. HP, SP, EP and level. By spending more EP you can upgrade a monster before summoning it. SP is the amount of stamina a monster has. By attacking or defending the monster loses SP. By getting attacked while not defending it loses HP. Each monster has an attack and defence. When defending a monster can protect itself from one attack and lose no HP in that turn. Some monsters have special abilities such as splash damage and wrath (when on the field alone after an allied monster dies)
There can only be 6 monsters in each side at a time.
Only level 1 monsters can be summoned normally. Level 2-3 require sacrifice or/and special cards (eg Ruby Core) to be summoned.

#

Smite explained this last night

flint arch
pure gull
#

yes, for 3 hrs

lusty yarrow
#

Wait

#

How do you drop you opponents health to zero

#

Where do you put your monsters to do that

#

And how do the parts that connect each room work?

west root
lusty yarrow
#

I am guessing pink is Hp

west root
#

yeah

lusty yarrow
#

And yellowish orange is sp

west root
#

I copied the colors from the game

lusty yarrow
#

Cool I will make up some pin designs

west root
#

the level is in the center

#

and the orange is a special move

#

special moves can only be used when a zone card of the same type is on the field

lusty yarrow
#

So shrubhog can only use super attack in jungle

west root
#

yeah

lusty yarrow
#

Cool

#

Wait a minute

#

If all defense attacks block 1 attack

west root
#

yeah?

#

there are ways to get more defenses

#

in one turn

#

eg treasure cards

pure gull
#

here are the pins i used in my own Diagram

west root
#

fixed it a bit

pure gull
#

my Diagram above

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

So it is a 4x4 grid, or is it a 5x5

west root
#

brain totem would make monsters go frenzy

lusty yarrow
#

What would going frenzy mean

#

Also how do you know whose cards are whose

pure gull
west root
#

frenzy doubles damage and the monster is immune to any damage for 1 turn but loses half of the damage it dealt from health and also loses double SP

lusty yarrow
#

Seems frenzy = bad?

pure gull
#

it's got as much good as drawbacks

west root
#

so if a monster has 10 HP, 10 SP and the move costs 4 SP and deals 4 dmg, it will do 8 dmg, lose 4 HP and 8 SP

lusty yarrow
#

The brain totem can effect from any square in its own room, right?

west root
#

no idea

#

we are actually making 2 different games

#

but I have no problem if you guys use these cards

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

I already knew what brain totem did

#

I was asking what it does in TCG

pure gull
#

frenzy target monster?

lusty yarrow
#

So In the tcg

#

The brain will frenzy a monster random

west root
lusty yarrow
#

Ok

west root
#

in PQ it's actually more powerful

lusty yarrow
#

Are there status effects in the tcg

west root
#

maybe

#

probably

pale blade
lusty yarrow
#

What about critters

west root
#

you only roll a die for ammo

#

at least for now

pale blade
#

what about the frenzy thing

west root
#

I haven't planned everything out yet

west root
lusty yarrow
#

Ok I am going to work on the extinction valley pins for the tcg

pale blade
west root
#

yes

#

you just choose a monster

#

in your side for now

pale blade
#

ok

lusty yarrow
#

Will pins like Lily pad do something in the tcg

west root
#

I haven't planned everything out yet

#

they could though

lusty yarrow
#

Because they are kind of nothing if they were just normal

#

Maybe we also think about the charms they give

west root
#

mirropal is just mirror force lmao

lusty yarrow
#

Also seriously what do crystall and treepaz do

pure gull
#

Smite, do you wanna make templates for pin cards?

lusty yarrow
#

Okay

#

For extinction valley

#

Suckamore, Macarite, and shrinkstool

#

I am also going to include candy corn, even though that is hive

pure gull
#

Gelatops is a definite card for there

#

i would make card frames too

lusty yarrow
#

Shrinkstool, when a monster steps on it's square, will shrink the monster

pale blade
#

would that be good or bad for the monsters

lusty yarrow
#

This will give a monster a 25% to dodge any attacks

#

Using a dice

pale blade
#

so we need a 4 sided die?

lusty yarrow
#

Sort of

#

Maybe 33.33%

#

So d6

pale blade
#

so roll 1 or 2 to evade

lusty yarrow
#

Yes

pale blade
#

how long does it last?

lusty yarrow
#

Last for 2 turns

#

Shrinkeffect

#

This will give it more than 1 chance

pale blade
#

will the common pins give some sort of buff? ex: powerose

lusty yarrow
#

Maybe

#

Let me do those too

pure gull
#

here's a mockup i made

#

if anything needs to change, lemme know

west root
#
Pins
Cleanser - Removes all buffs and debuffs from a monster
Powerose - Doubles damage for 1 turn
Armachoke - Takes half damage for 2 turns
Snapdash - Can attack twice for 2 turns
Thristle - Enemy monster takes half of the damage they dealt when attacking that monster (works only once)
Dustelion - Monster that gets attacked can’t attack for 1 turn
Dizzalea - Opponent rolls a d6 for each of their monsters and if they roll a 1, that monster flees

Ammo
Rifle – Hits one monster and the opponent for 1d6 dmg
Bombs – Hits all enemy monsters for 1d3 dmg
Jumbo – Hits one monster for 1d8 dmg
Homing – Has a 100% hit rate no matter what and deals 1d6 dmg to 1 monster or the opponent
Grapes – Hits all enemy monsters and the opponent for 1d2 dmg
Shotgun – Hits 1 monster for 2d6 dmg
Prickly – Hits 2 enemy monsters for 1d6 dmg
pure gull
#

is my work sufficient for a card frame btw, smite

lusty yarrow
#

triangle is off center

#

what does 1d2 mean

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

well i dont care about damage

#

how do i make boxes like smite

west root
#

1 dice

#

2 sides

pure gull
west root
#

so a coin

#

looks good

pure gull
#

I Centered the details

#

thx

lusty yarrow
#

how do i make boxes like you smite?

pure gull
#

smite, or anyone wanna color the frames for all the zones?

lusty yarrow
#

well i dont need boxes

west root
pure gull
#

i can't get the right colors myself

west root
pure gull
#

Nice

west root
#

I used the colors from the game

pure gull
#

i'll need help with getting Crystal zone's colors...

west root
pure gull
#

i'm gonna make Crystall and Treepaz

#

👍

lusty yarrow
#

Pins
Suckamore - Takes 1 SP from a 3x3 radius from a monster
Macarite - Spawns 3 Aliens
Candy Corn - Spawns 4 popcorn in the cardinal directions, which when touched will give 1 HP and 1 SP
Shrinkstool - Roll 1d6, if they roll 1 or 2, the monster avoids damage, last for 2 turns
Frenzerries - Will give the effect of frenzy for 1 turns

#

funny

west root
#

frenzy for 2 turns!!

#

that's way too powerful

lusty yarrow
#

why not

#

funny

#

ok maybe 1 turn is fine

west root
#

yeah

lusty yarrow
#

Misc.

#

oops

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

wow looks great

#

remember when crystal was cyan

pure gull
#

Didn't know

lusty yarrow
#

Misc.
Aliens - Attack a random monster in cardinal direction by rolling 1d4, and will deal 1 damage and give shock effect for 1 turn, and afterwards will disappear
Shocked - Takes away 2 SP from a monster and stop super attacks

#

shocked has no 'last for turns' because it is determined by other factors

pure gull
#

Crystall: Clears all Status Ailments
Treepaz: when an attack hits this Pin, that attack does 2 more damage to a target monster

lusty yarrow
#

treepaz's ability should be given to prysmal for obvious reasons

pure gull
#

ah

#

i'll let you make the effects then

#

ghost and bee

pure gull
#

nice

lusty yarrow
#

i wonder what smite will think about my effects

pure gull
#

Thanks!

west root
#

hey

#

I don't think I explained exactly what EP is

#

EP is like mana from hearthstone

#

it is used when summoning monsters

#

mostly

pure gull
#

Dungeon

west root
#

to summon a monster you spend 1 EP

lusty yarrow
#

smite did you see effects

#

is any to overpowered?

west root
#

but you can spend another 1 or 2 to upgrade it to silver or gold crown

lusty yarrow
#

i was planning to have 1 of the effects take away levels

#

but that is too overpowered

west root
#

I'll read them in a bit

lusty yarrow
#

cool

pure gull
#

how's this

lusty yarrow
#

cool

#

now make more totems

pure gull
#

I would but i didn't save other wiki images

lusty yarrow
#

then save more

pure gull
#

I have Treepaz

lusty yarrow
#

smite needs to see

pure gull
#

do you have pin images too?

#

like anything random is all

#

what does treepaz do normally?

lusty yarrow
#

It does nothing

#

if you plant it in a garden

#

it will give clip clear

#

Pins
Suckamore - Takes 1 SP from a 3x3 radius from a monster
Macarite - Spawns 3 Aliens
Candy Corn - Spawns 4 popcorn in the cardinal directions, which when touched will give 1 HP and 1 SP
Shrinkstool - Roll 1d6, if they roll 1 or 2, the monster avoids damage, last for 2 turns

here do the ones i made first

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

just turn them into cards

pure gull
#

Treepaz done

lusty yarrow
#

cool

pure gull
#

some new Card frames

#

Bet you can tell what zones these are anyhow

#

And fossil Zone at last

west root
#

nice

pure gull
#

Indeed

pale blade
#

Should we put the zone names on the top of the cards?

west root
#

I think it's pretty clear what zone each of them represent

pure gull
#

Jungle

#

Coast, Desert and Hive

#

any ones i'm missing?

pure gull
west root
#

there are 12 zones

#

13 if we count ruins

pure gull
#

and then underwater ones

pure gull
#

would that be new?

west root
#

there aren't any new zones in there

pure gull
#

ah

#

I do have em all then

#

and a Totem Frame

pure gull
#

I bet Liam would be envious of this

reef granite
#

Brain totem should make your monster allowed to move up to 3 times in a row but costing double sp to do so

reef granite
#

Maybe frenzerries could be like a single use item and brain totem could have an area of effect

#

Honestly I forgot frenzerries existed

lusty yarrow
#

hi im back from funny stitch escapade

#

smite do you think the effects are good or bad?

pure gull
#

Arachnid, here's one of your pins

lusty yarrow
#

cool and epic

pure gull
#

indeed

#

also, this was a zen zone pin

lusty yarrow
#

nope

#

hive

#

who said it was zen?

pure gull
#

i looked at a screenshot

lusty yarrow
#

it is hive 100%

#

anyways time to make more pins

pure gull
#

I was... wrong

#

but hey, it can be redone

#

Apply Frenzy to Adjacent Monsters when this pin is attacked.

When a Frenzied Monster is attacked, the damage that monster takes is doubled

pure gull
#

Changed

lusty yarrow
#

Pins
Foleye - Roll 1d6, if roll a 2 or 3 then will give energized for 1 turn
Nevergreen - Will spawn 2 Moth critters
Nightsnare - If a critter attacks this, they will instantly be removed
Mothtel - Will spawn 1 Moth critter each time being attacked, after being attacked 3 time it will be destroyed, spawning a web that when moved on will give the sticky effect
Magnaroma - Gives the sugary effect
Amberite - When attacked 3 times, it will be destroyed and spawn 3 enemy fly critters
Skeletree - When attacked 4 times, it will be destroyed

Misc.
Moth - Will shoot smoke, which will be directed at a monster in the ordinal directions and can cause Dizzy if roll 1d4, and roll a 2 or 4
Flies - Moves toward the opponent's monsters, and will deal 1 damage
Energized - Basically frenzied except for the negatives

#

Review

pure gull
#

I'm starting on Suckamore

lusty yarrow
#

cool

lusty yarrow
#

skeletree was really easy for obvious reasons

#

i will work on similar pins

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

yes correct

pure gull
#

what zone is Suckamore?

lusty yarrow
#

fossil

pure gull
#

ok! excellent

lusty yarrow
#

extinction valley pins are all based off of sweets

#

it is a funny pun

#

sweeteor

#

because a meteor caused an extinction

#

and this meteor is sweet

#

which is why this place is called extinction valley despite the sweets

#

Pins
Dungo - When moved on, it will be destroyed and give the monster sticky, and if attacked 1 time, it will spawn 3 beetle critters
Rot Stump - When attacked 3 times, it will be destroyed and spawn 3 spider critters
Cracktus - Will do damage if moved one and if attacked 4 times, it will be destroyed
Brittalite - When attacked 4 times, it will be destroyed
Tarball - When attacked 2 times, it will be destroyed and give the monster the tarry effect
Soul Urn - When attacked 3 times, it will be destroyed and spawn 2 ghost critters

Misc.
Beetle - Will move around randomly, determined by a d4, and will deal 1 contact damage
Spider - Will shoot a web, which will be directed at a monster in the cardinal directions and can cause Sticky if roll 1d3, and roll a 1 or 3
Angry - It is just frenzied with different conditions to happen

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

cool

#

also btw

#

are we making this so others can play

pure gull
#

ye

lusty yarrow
#

cool

pure gull
#

i Mean it would be a nice crowd pleaser

lusty yarrow
#

yes

#

i wonder if liam approves of this

pure gull
#

I hope so

#

Macarite now

lusty yarrow
#

yes

pure gull
#

still Fossil i bet

lusty yarrow
#

yep

#

then you can make pyrsmal by giving it treepaz's old ability

#

time to make dungeon pins

#

Pins
Brazier - Imbues any attack coming through it with the burning effect
Ancient Plinth - Roll 1d3, if roll 1 = HP, 2 = SP, or 3 = EP, then roll 1d6 and take away the designated amount based on the 2 dices
Brickstack - Simply blocks any attack
Crumbling Wall - Simply blocks any super attack
Stone Head - Monsters can't move onto this pin
Signstone - Allows the monster to do its super attack in the dungeon zone if attacked
Tape Deck - Will double the damage of any attack or super attack if the monster is from the Zen, Volcano, or Rust zone
Incubator - Spawns a enemy monster from the Hive Zone
Planter - Takes 1 EP from a 3x3 radius from a monster
Pyrimid - It will double the amount of EP to level up if you're nearby it
Gingerbird - Gives turbo effect for 2 turns
Upsy Daisy - Roll 1d3, if roll 1 or 2, it will give the flying effect for 1 turn, if else, it will give the flying effect for 3 turns
Hot Air Geyser - Gives the flying effect for 2 turns

pure gull
#

It's 7:07 PM here

lusty yarrow
#

i know

pure gull
pure gull
#

I'm stumped rn

lusty yarrow
#

Pin
Caterpalm - Doubles any damage if standing in dangerous terrain for 2 turns
Sleeping Willow - If your ammo fruit is not Pomegrenades, give the drowsy effect for 2 turns.
Raffleshia - Gives the stench effect for 1 turns
Golden Funnel - If attacked, it will give back 1 HP and if attacked 2 times, it will be destroyed
Pushroom - Pushes away any monster 1 square back
Confungus - If your ammo fruit is not Gatling Grape, give the dizzy effect for 2 turns.
Portreeni - If your ammo fruit is Autocados, give the sugary effect for 2 turns.
Bubble Bulb - Gives the bubble effect for 3 turns
Lilypad - Prevents the monster from being afflicted by the terrain
Frend - Spawns 1 fly and 1 moth critter
Tenticap - After being attacked, it will give energized for 2 turns and will be destroyed

pure gull
#

Nice

lusty yarrow
#

anyways work on these ones

#

no more for today

pure gull
#

k

lusty yarrow
#

hopefully smite will make the game more cohesive tomorrow

pure gull
#

will do, mate

pure gull
pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

yippee

#

btw, portreeni only only gives its effect when attacked

pure gull
#

i wanted conditional ah

pure gull
#

updated btw

lusty yarrow
#

probably will make next set conditional

pure gull
#

yea

lusty yarrow
#

i wonder if you actually play pq

pure gull
#

maybe we make a 60 Pin, 20 Monsters and 12 Zone

lusty yarrow
#

yes

#

do you actually play pq?

#

im saying this because you have no roles lol

pure gull
#

I don't but i am interested

lusty yarrow
#

you know you can try the demo

#

for free

pure gull
#

i'm waiting on Switch

lusty yarrow
#

ok

#

i wonder what will be the next gen nintendo console

#

each one has a funny gimick

pure gull
#

I wonder

lusty yarrow
#

maybe make the template for the critter cards

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

oki doki

pure gull
#

ta da!

lusty yarrow
#

wowie

pure gull
#

ye

pure gull
#

the ones ya listed

lusty yarrow
#

yes all jungle

#

#

all jungle

#

@pure gull

pure gull
#

i did some

lusty yarrow
#

plz show

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

oh

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

you know what

#

these cards looks too empty

#

i guess these are prototypes

pure gull
#

i haven't got much to imagine of these

lusty yarrow
#

we will improve them after completeing them all

pure gull
#

we'll do set 1 as
-60 Pins
-20 mounts
-13 Zone Cards
-20 Sub habitats
-10 Tokens

lusty yarrow
#

let me see how many pins i made

pure gull
#

k

#

can we also do the Crystal Pins we didn't earlier?

lusty yarrow
#

omg

#

i and smite made perfectly 60

pure gull
#

and i made 3

lusty yarrow
#

yes

#

i added those too

#

60

pure gull
#

4 If ya count Prysmal

#

still, this is monumental

lusty yarrow
#

of course if you dont want to count ammo bushes then i guess we dont have 60

pure gull
#

i do wanna count them

lusty yarrow
#

ok then we have 60

#

time to choose the subhabitat

#

lets start with the ones of the main 4

pure gull
#

Crystal has 3, so we choose 1-2 of em

#

ah

#

that too

lusty yarrow
#

then we get to places

pure gull
#

ok, so what ones are there?

lusty yarrow
#

Woozy Woods
Breakback Slope
Catus Patch
Sinking Tidepool
Extinction Valley
Crystal Garden
Dusk Hive
Honey Hive
Tar Pits
Nuclear Crater
Misty Caverns

#

these are all of the ones based off the pins alone

#

now we can add more

pure gull
#

Isn't it "Woozy Woods?"

lusty yarrow
#

oh right

#

sorry

#

do you want to add any more

#

lets at least add one to each main zone

pure gull
#

either way, i think we can also get away with adding in a few locations from Rust and Volcanic

lusty yarrow
#

Woozy Woods
Breakback Slope
Catus Patch
Sinking Tidepool
Extinction Valley
Crystal Garden
Dusk Hive
Honey Hive
Tar Pits
Nuclear Crater
Misty Caverns
Searing Pool
Power Plant
Haunted Marsh
Ice Sheet Island

#

i added one to each main zone

pure gull
#

ok, Excellent

lusty yarrow
#

there are 5 more spots if anyone wants to take them!

pure gull
#

give me the color of each Crystal Sub habitat and i can do a design with it

lusty yarrow
#

smite can give it to you

pure gull
#

ok

lusty yarrow
#

ping him

pure gull
#

@west root wanna help w/ this like starting each sub habitat for Crystal Zone?

lusty yarrow
#

i know he is online rn

west root
#

you can get them from the game

#

just open the map or something and copy the colors

pure gull
#

I need the sub habitat colors

#

i don't play

#

not yet at least

lusty yarrow
#

yeah he doesnt own the game

west root
#

I see

#

you can find them in the wiki

pure gull
#

I am still passionate about this though

west root
pure gull
#

i'll try

#

is green the Crystal Garden?

lusty yarrow
#

no

#

nuclear crater

#

pink is crystal garden

#

do you people want to add any more subzones of your choosing

pure gull
#

ah

#

Got em

west root
#

they look pretty good

pale blade
#

Nice design

pure gull
#

i agree

pure gull
pure gull
#

Rust Zone's Sub Zones can be added

lusty yarrow
#

Ok

pure gull
#

Power Plant is Blue, yeah?

lusty yarrow
#

Time to add my own

#

Still 3 more spots

pure gull
#

which zone is security sector and which is factory floor?

lusty yarrow
#

Factory is yellow, power is blue, security is red

pure gull
#

ok

lusty yarrow
#

@west root do you want to add one?

west root
#

what?

lusty yarrow
#

Subzones

west root
#

what?

lusty yarrow
#

Add a subzones

#

There are only 3 more spots left

#

They will be added in set 1

west root
#

I don't know

lusty yarrow
#

Sad

west root
#

I'm confused

lusty yarrow
#

Oki I will choose 2

west root
lusty yarrow
#

Oh uhoh

pure gull
#

nevermind that

lusty yarrow
#

Why

pure gull
#

we can still get the point across as we go

lusty yarrow
#

We still need 20 . . .

west root
#

Do what you see best 👍

pure gull
#

so, what arachnid is saying is we're making sub zones for the game

lusty yarrow
#

Then you people can pick the other two

#

I will choose

#

1

#

Woozy Woods
Breakback Slope
Catus Patch
Sinking Tidepool
Extinction Valley
Crystal Garden
Dusk Hive
Honey Hive
Tar Pits
Nuclear Crater
Misty Caverns
Searing Pool
Power Plant
Haunted Marsh
Ice Sheet Island
Sticky Thicket

#

Now you two can choose 1

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Cool

#

I approve

#

Before we choose the final two, let's choose the zones

#

There are more than 13, suprisingly

pure gull
#

Meteor Mountain

lusty yarrow
#

Jungle
Hills
Desert
Coast
Hive
Zen
Fossil
Volcano
Swamp
Glacier
Crystal
Rust

#

Those are 12 zones

#

Now time to add one more

#

Tectonic

pure gull
#

ruins is a zone right?

lusty yarrow
#

Technically no

west root
#

ruins isn't a zone exactly but is treated as such

lusty yarrow
#

Yes

#

Personally I like them seperate

#

But still there are more zones that will not be added

pure gull
#

Tectonic you said

lusty yarrow
#

Deep swamp, sea floor, and Dungeon

#

Don't forget about undersea

pure gull
#

ye

lusty yarrow
#

Woozy Woods
Breakback Slope
Catus Patch
Sinking Tidepool
Extinction Valley
Crystal Garden
Dusk Hive
Honey Hive
Tar Pits
Nuclear Crater
Misty Caverns
Searing Pool
Power Plant
Haunted Marsh
Ice Sheet Island
Sticky Thicket
Meteor Mountain

#

Okay 1 more

#

Smite choose 1

west root
#

Nuclear

lusty yarrow
#

Choose new 1

#

Already have nuclear crater

lusty yarrow
#

Yes

#

We chose 1 from each zone

west root
#

what have you not added?

lusty yarrow
#

And then we added more based on the pins

#

Lesser Ridge
Greater Ridge
Windswept Overpass
Windswept Underpass
Prickly Tidepool
Flooded Tidepool
Jagged Falls
Silk Hive
Forgotten Garden
Training Grounds
Hunting Grounds
The Caldera
Slimy Mire
Flooded Bog
The Snowstorm

#

Sorry if I said any of these wrong

#

Also, if the ruins are a zone, then each ruin should be their own subzone

#

So also

#

Sacred Ruins
Tectonic Ruins
Coral Ruins
Crumbling Ruins

#

Pick or I will pick

#

Mwhahahhahahahahha

pure gull
#

Sacred ruins

lusty yarrow
#

No

#

Smite needs to choose

west root
#

forgotten garden or the caldera

lusty yarrow
#

Okay time to use random number generator to see which one

#

Okay caldera won

#

Woozy Woods
Breakback Slope
Catus Patch
Sinking Tidepool
Extinction Valley
Crystal Garden
Dusk Hive
Honey Hive
Tar Pits
Nuclear Crater
Misty Caverns
Searing Pool
Power Plant
Haunted Marsh
Ice Sheet Island
Sticky Thicket
Meteor Mountain
The Caldera

#

These are the subzones going in

#

60 pins and none of them are totems

pure gull
#

Ah ah ah

#

not quite none of em

#

i made the Brain Totem

lusty yarrow
#

Oh shit

#

That is 61

#

We screwed up

#

Maybe we get rid of Gatling grapes

#

No one likes them anyways

pure gull
#

or Dustelion

#

actually, Let's do an RNG to decide

#

and the one it chooses we push to set 2

lusty yarrow
#

Gatling grapes loses

#

Sad

pure gull
#

ok

#

It gets pushed to set 2 then

lusty yarrow
#

Let me make dustelion more interesting then

pure gull
#

also, i noticed the pins are all biast to certain zones more than others

#

don't you agree?

lusty yarrow
#

Yes

#

Jungle, fossil and hive got lots of love

#

Next set will be different

pure gull
#

so why don't we do 5 of each zone?

lusty yarrow
#

How many pins are in set 2

#

No

#

We already have what we have so let's complete them rn and then do that system later

pure gull
#

maybe... 65 including reprints and... 45 without?

lusty yarrow
#

65 in set 2?

pure gull
#

yea

lusty yarrow
#

Wow

#

Let me start working tomorrow

pure gull
#

yea, but by then we'll have 20 to vote in as reprints

lusty yarrow
#

Yee

#

This will be physical?

pure gull
#

i use Size 24 arial for the name and 20 arial for card text

lusty yarrow
#

Make the font the same font patch Quest uses

pure gull
pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

This is what I believe is good

#

Name

#

Zone

#

Picture

#

Flavor text

#

Ability

#

This is the structure of a card

pure gull
#

i did wanna have it planned as zone symbol in between stats

lusty yarrow
#

Flavor text will just be the pq text

pure gull
#

yea

lusty yarrow
#

Meanwhile how many critter do we want

pure gull
#

12 i think

lusty yarrow
#

No as in set 1

#

I think 10 is a good number

pure gull
#

yea

#

btw, Searing lake is also the same color as the Caldera

lusty yarrow
#

Make caldera more red

pure gull
#

ok

lusty yarrow
#

Moth
Spider
Bee
Fly
Ghost
Alien
Beetle

#

Still need 3 more

#

Let's do the boring ones

#

Frog
Tadpole
Mosquito

pure gull
#

yea

#

I assigned Alien the 2/2 stat

lusty yarrow
#

Yes give them hp

#

I didn't do that

#

Also give frog tadpoles and mosquito their abilities

#

What do you mean by 'tokens'

pure gull
#

critters are Token cards

lusty yarrow
#

O I see

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Yep

pure gull
#

here

lusty yarrow
#

Yes

#

What will be the next one?

pure gull
#

idk

lusty yarrow
#

Update old cards with the new subzones

pure gull
#

as will several monsters

#

i didn't make all the Subzones

lusty yarrow
#

I know

pure gull
#

and it'll be a while until we get that far, not that i doubt ya at all

lusty yarrow
#

Suckamore and Macarite will be put into Extinction valley as that is the only place they can appear in

pure gull
#

a subzone i never made a card frame of

lusty yarrow
#

Yes

#

Also remember

#

Critters can be part of subzones too

pure gull
#

true

lusty yarrow
#

Guess what is so funny

#

We haven't even started on the monsters yet, the main section

pure gull
#

what color is extinction valley?

#

Pink?

pure gull
#

i still wanna get this frame done

lusty yarrow
#

Pink

#

Tar Pits is the grayish blackish color

pure gull
#

ok

lusty yarrow
#

I will work on 35 secret set 2 pins that will be revealed on Wednesday

pure gull
#

ok

#

i'll allow ya to make the cards

#

Updated

lusty yarrow
#

Ooo cool

pure gull
#

anything else?

lusty yarrow
#

Set 2 pins will automatically include Gatling grapes

pure gull
#

nice

lusty yarrow
#

No nothing else needs to be updated

#

We need to make more

pure gull
#

ok, good

lusty yarrow
#

Want to make more?

#

Today

pure gull
#

list 1 and post the image so we can close on this next pin

lusty yarrow
#

Ok

pure gull
#

it's 1 AM so i'll be making more simple ones tomorrow

lusty yarrow
#

Oops

#

Not transparent is it?

pure gull
#

nope

#

i need it transparent to work on it

#

as well as what zone it's from if any

#

Which pin is it?

lusty yarrow
pure gull
#

there we go

#

this works

lusty yarrow
#

Skeletree - When attacked 4 times, it will be destroyed

#

Simple

pure gull
#

yea

lusty yarrow
#

Desert btw

pure gull
#

nice

lusty yarrow
#

Brittalite - When attacked 4 times, it will be destroyed

#

Except same except in crystal

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Yesssssss

#

Time to work on brittite

#

Brittalite

#

Anyways time to commit sleeping

pure gull
#

done

lusty yarrow
#

Yippee

pure gull
#

that's a quarter of our 60 pins

lusty yarrow
#

I love the little extra effects you give to them

#

Yes

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Hopefully a certain citrus fruit approves of this

pure gull
#

yea

#

maybe we get him to come in at one point

lusty yarrow
#

Anyways gtg

#

Yes

#

Hopefully he is really bad at the game

pure gull
#

cya tomorrow

lusty yarrow
#

That would be funny

#

Cya

lusty yarrow
#

Awake

#

Time to make secret 36 (one of them is Gatling grapes

pure gull
#

k

flint arch
lusty yarrow
#

Idk I didn't make the frenzy effect I only used it

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Gtg make more pins

pure gull
#

all other frenzy pins would do other stuff

pure gull
lusty yarrow
flint arch
pure gull
#

nice

#

fossil zone for sure

lusty yarrow
#

Pins
Amberite - When attacked 3 times, it will be destroyed and spawn 3 enemy fly critters

Misc.
Flies - Moves toward the opponent's monsters, and will deal 1 damage

lusty yarrow
#

ok time to make more

lusty yarrow
#

Ok did everyone forget about this

#

?

lusty yarrow
#

Hello

#

Did everyone forget about this?

west root
#

no

lusty yarrow
#

Okay

#

Smite, is there any updates

#

Hopefully we can actually play the game with all the pins now

#

Sofar

pale blade
#

Can someone please explain how to win this game?

lusty yarrow
#

Beat up opponent to progress

#

Once you reach blue tile you win

#

You start at red tile

#

Engage in fights

#

If win, then move

#

I think

#

Smite plz explain

west root
#

I don't know if you changed the rules

#

I told you guys before that I'm making a tcg with different rules

lusty yarrow
#

So your TCG is different from the one we are making?

#

But it is still related to PQ

west root
#

yes

#

it's like a mix of yugioh and hearthstone

lusty yarrow
#

Oke well ours have definitely diverged from yours

#

Maybe we can mash them up later

pale blade
#

Ok

#

I think I understand

west root
#

if you wanna use anything be free to copy it

lusty yarrow
#

Let's see

#

Basically our game is a bit more weird

#

I think I will make my own rule doc

#

But it is very similar to yours ut with more rows, and movement

west root
#

and the cards

lusty yarrow
#

Wow very cool

#

Anyways

#

My game rules are very similar

#

Except

#

Monsters must be played on your side (the side of the 5x5 that is next to you)

#

Monster may be moved (loses one SP each movement (each monster can move 3 times)

#

And more pins

west root
#

yeah I'm still making cards

lusty yarrow
#

Why do you hate autocados and grapes so much?

#

If only we could pin comment ourselves

#

Then we could pin your rulebook

west root
#

it's still isn't finished so there is no need yet

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

I mean who uses burst normally anyways but still

west root
#

I'll make a dozen or so more monsters later today and then test the game

lusty yarrow
#

Cool

#

I think I will engineer some more and import all of my pins to rulebook

#

Unfortunately, I live in a place called us so I must go sleepy sleep soon

west root
#

wow

#

so unlucky

lusty yarrow
#

I unironically don't use the chad metric system, but use the virgin imperial system

#

Only recently did I actually know smite sleeps at 12:00 pm

#

For us

#

Also btw

#

When was omalon a monster?

west root
#

It's a boss

#

gives exodia vibes

#

no no not exodia

#

the other one

#

the blue thing

#

obelisk the tormentor

west root
#

It is an equipment card. All equipment cards except the cores are light purple colored. Also all cores are equipment cards

pure gull
#

i'm here

lusty yarrow
#

Hi

west root
#

Hey

pure gull
#

here

#

Now i need an asset for the fly

lusty yarrow
#

This is a tar pits pin

#

Subzone

pure gull
#

so this bluish area?

#

or the green

lusty yarrow
#

Blueish area

pure gull
#

ok

lusty yarrow
#

Yes

#

I guarantee before 7 pm I will make rules for our tcg

#

Rules will include everything so far

#

Pins, effects, monsters, and rules in general

pure gull
#

hold on, i forgot to Retype amberite!

#

there we are

#

these are what's created

#

This Pin is destroyed after 3 attacks

When this pin is destroyed, Create 3 1/2 mozzie Critter Token

#

done and checked facts

pure gull
pure gull
#

I decided to do Mirropal over Spideout

lusty yarrow
#

Hey

#

Spideout was never even included

#

Also

#

Thanks for correcting me

#

They are mozzies

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Yes

pure gull
#

maybe it can be a set 2 pin?

lusty yarrow
#

I will think about it once I make rule book

pure gull
#

ok

pure gull
#

@west root are there anymore details on pins that i need to make on my existing 16 cards area wise?

lusty yarrow
#

Idk

#

Add some gradients on to the triangle or something

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

No not really

#

You don't need anymore details

pure gull
#

gotcha

lusty yarrow
#

The subzone and main zone are good enough

#

If they appear in more than one subzone

#

Then they aren't part of any subzone

#

Btw

pure gull
#

I can do something if they only appear in 2 Subzones

lusty yarrow
#

Pins like candy corn only go in their main zone

#

Don't count them part of any outside pins

pure gull
#

gotcha

lusty yarrow
#

Hookvine for example

#

Appears a lot in swamp

#

But because they are jungle pin and only appear in sticky Thicket in jungle

#

They should only have jungle and sticky Thicket colors

#

Get what I mean

pure gull
#

ok, i see

lusty yarrow
#

Hookvine doesn't have any swamp because they aren't swamp

pure gull
#

heree

#

I referenced how more than 1 mirror causes light to reflect in different directions

#

and no, damage doesn't stack on Mirropal's effects

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Good

pure gull
#

i decided on Mutium

lusty yarrow
#

Cool

pure gull
#

ik where this spawns luckily

lusty yarrow
#

Nuclear Crater

pure gull
#

yep

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Cool

lusty yarrow
#

working one tcg rules

#

on*

#

You can watch the progress

pure gull
#

k

lusty yarrow
#

do you suggest anything

pure gull
#

no

lusty yarrow
#

is there anything wrong

#

with it

pure gull
#

i don't see a single flaw

lusty yarrow
#

okay

#

i hope smite comes and smites down my rules

#

funny pun

#

anyways

#

i am porting pins now

pure gull
#

i wanna do Cacturret as well

reef granite
#

What should rock do

lusty yarrow
#

rock isnt in game

#

because it is not patch quest pin anymore

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Sure

pure gull
#

which ones do ya wanna make?

lusty yarrow
#

I can come up with some ideas rn just wait

#

Pins
Attacktus - When a monster moves into it, deal 1 damage and push away the monster
Alloy Vera - When moved on, heals 3 HP and is destroyed
Paddle Plant - if you have mortarmelon, give the player 3 extra hearts (conditional)
Alloy Vera - if you have spineapples, increase the level by 1 immediately. If at max level, heal by 3 HP.

#

Very easy

#

Also yes conditionals

pure gull
#

excellent

lusty yarrow
#

Paddle Plant is the only conditional tho, might make more desert cacti conditiinal

pure gull
#

give me Alloy Vera First

lusty yarrow
#

Here u go

pure gull
#

k! excellent

#

This marks 1/3rd of this set's overall pins

pure gull
lusty yarrow
#

Cactower - if you do have nectarifle, give turbo to all allied monsters for 3 turn (conditional)
Cactuft - if you do not have bananarangs, give tarry to all monsters (conditional)
Dried Skull - when attacked, reduces all attacks given to said monster by 1 and becomes destroyed
Palime - when attacked, the attacking monster temporarily loses its passives and super for 1 turn

#

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

lusty yarrow
#

Secondly

#

I meant level as in monster level, not silver to jumbo

#

Monster level is new mechanic that you should read about in rulez

pure gull
#

gimme a proper effect and i can rework it in

lusty yarrow
#

Wdym by that

#

Basically the original monster level is still here it is called monster crown now

#

Monster level is a system where after each turn, the monsters that you obtain are higher value, causing the game to get more fun later on

#

The monster level helps do this I think

#

So when I say increase monster level

#

I mean increase from level 4 to 5

#

8 is the maximum, so when that happens, heals the attacking monster by 3

#

I am not saying increase the monster from normal to silver crown

#

Talking about monster level (new)

#

If your Monster's current ammo fruit is 1 or more Spineapples, Increase that Monster's level by 1 (MAX: 5) when this pin is attacked.

If your Monster's level is 5 when this pin is attacked, heal that monster for 3 HP if able.

#

is this good?

lusty yarrow
#

No

#

Max is 8

#

Also I need to restate something

#

When you put down a monster card

#

You get another monster card

#

That monster card drawn from a pool of monster cards

pure gull
#

If your Monster's current ammo fruit is 1 or more Spineapples, Increase that Monster's level by 1 (MAX: 8) when this pin is attacked.

If your Monster's level is 8 when this pin is attacked, heal that monster for 3 HP if able.

#

now?

#

is that better now rather?

#

grrrr

#

wrong again somehow

#

the level isnt related to any specfic monster

#

it is a value seperate from the indivual

#

but it will give the indivual 3 HP back if the level of the monster draw pool is at 8

#

the indivual level only goes up to 5 (horde, normal, silver, gold, jumbo)

lusty yarrow
#

eh whatever we can fix it later after we get out of the beta stage

pure gull
#

ye

pale blade
