I love the gadget use in the game, but sometimes, i feel like they can take too long to charge, if you tend to play more aggressively and solo so i here present the
Small primary gadgets!

For example lets take this health pack that you get from a big health pack (this could work for ammo and equipment aswell)
Make that the small health pack

Pros against the big gadgets:

  • Recharge time is 2x faster than the big gadgets
  • Quicker time to take it

Cons against the big gadgets:

  • Its one time use

How to deploy them

  • You would have an option to either single press them, or double tap them to deploy them

Single press:

  • The gadget would be thrown to the ground, and anyone would be able to pick it up from the ground

Double press:

  • You would take the gadget yourself (with a potentially longer animation to balance it out with the ones being thrown on the floor)

notice how the character holds the gun with the right hand, and throwing/using the gadget with the left one

Have you considered that there is already a healing syringe available in the backpacks? It only heals about 33% health, but often that is enough and it recharges relatively fast.
Most of the time I have both the health pack and syringe equipped

problem with the stim is that not only does it heal 40hp but it also is only for you. You cannot stim someone else. Another thing is that you are sacrificing a secondary gadget for it.
Also you are thinking only about healing, what about ammo or equipment?

Hell, if you add this, remove the stim altogether
