I notice that some people are server voice muted, and have been for a very long time. I would think it to be ideal that such mutes would expire like a text mute would (a text mute would prevent the user from connecting to the channel, anyway, so why not use that).

Yeah I have no idea if there's even a way to see who's server muted or not to begin with lol
The only times I've had to server mute someone was if their mic quality was so bad, they were unmuted but not talking and we could hear the background noise, or they were intentionally trolling
Which have been like almost never frequently and usually I try to remember to remove it but it's whatever
