Can we please make lore discussion into a forum so it’s easier to look up theories or comment on them without to much confusion so it’s easier for new people to get into the lore and help out

weve discussed this quite a bit in the past on how to deal with different theories, and I think the conclusion we ended up coming to is that just one lore doc and the chat is the best way. The problem with a forum is that it would be difficult to manage a forum for each and every new theory people come up with

On one half I mean it does get a good sense of what theories people are talking about, on the other side... I see this getting messy with like 6 or 7 post that are "what is lore-discussion?"

What both of them said, it wouldn't solve many issues that it would cause in itself

you will also have a channel for thousands of just really dumb theories people come up with. Its not bad if its just a message, but to constantly have new threads opening sayin stuff like "Laura is the girl in the storm" over and over would get tiring

But there could be a system where if a post has a certain number of downvotes and no upvotes it gets deleted so we can remove the post after explaining the person what’s wrong with their theory

back when i was active in the lore chat, there would be maybe 10 suggested theories like that a day

and there are also plenty of theories that are just incredibly wild and unsupported, but cant technically be proven wrong

It would already help if you have 4 posts one for new people one for small theories one for big theories and another for general uses and theorizing together

And no new posts can be created

Just some quality of life change to make it easier for new people whilst also having a place for more experienced people

I still think making threads (if necessary) is a better option that scrapping the currently existing channel or add on another channel that still wouldn't solve many issues

It doesn't seem necessary to clutter the channels list with something that's nearly identical to making threads off the original channel

Assuming threads are necessary either, defeats the point of lore discussion if you don't discuss anything anymore
