My PC is not working properly since 2 days.

The BIOS time has gone up from 8 seconds to 16 to 18 seconds
The entire system has become slow
The browser I use (Opera GX) doesn't open after I close it when I'm done using it. Even when it opens in the first place, only the search bar works and none other details like bookmarks, weather and etc shows up
All the apps on the task bar vanish and come back again.
During gaming, the game minimizes automatically and it's been happening very frequently
Instagram on browser freezes randomly and when I try to restart the browser, it doesn't open again
Now the PC won't start, the screen just fluctuates. Fluctuating between black and little bright display.
Tried to enter the safe mode but there's no display at all

I tried restarting it many times yet, the PC won't start
Please help.

lets try with the ez1 : Reset CMOS

How to reset CMOS:

Shut down PC & unplug power.

Hold power button 10 seconds.

Open side panel.

Locate CMOS battery (coin cell).

Remove it for 2 minutes.

Put it back & turn on PC.

I can try it but I was able to turn on my PC just now. I'm on it right now. So if you can suggest some fixes that can be done when the system is on, do let me know. I don't whether the PC will start next time or not

Then run SFC

After DISM repair is complete, run:

sfc /scannow

This fixes damaged system files using the repaired Windows image.

I did this. The PC started very smoothly after following your procedure. But I still don't good. There can be a possibility of virus in the system. I'm running a full system scan right now using QuickHeal anti virus

a lot of people say windows defender is enough but ime its not enough, defender still cant stop all the viruses! Try kasperky, its the best imo.

Since this reset the BIOS, so make sure to re-enable your XMP/EXPO profile; otherwise, your RAM will run at base stock speed.

Check if your cpu usage is high on idle i.e when you are not doing anything. If you are still in doubt, just take a backup and re-install windows

I would just reinstall windows tbh, the hassle is not worth the trouble shooting
Reset CMOS, Reinstall Windows, Put back XMP
Any software problem will be fixed here

I only game and use browser for YouTube and Instagram. But other users on the same system do lot of browser related work
