My PC is not working properly since 2 days.

  1. The BIOS time has gone up from 8 seconds to 16 to 18 seconds
  2. The entire system has become slow
  3. The browser I use (Opera GX) doesn't open after I close it when I'm done using it. Even when it opens in the first place, only the search bar works and none other details like bookmarks, weather and etc shows up
  4. All the apps on the task bar vanish and come back again.
  5. During gaming, the game minimizes automatically and it's been happening very frequently
  6. Instagram on browser freezes randomly and when I try to restart the browser, it doesn't open again
  7. Now the PC won't start, the screen just fluctuates. Fluctuating between black and little bright display.
  8. Tried to enter the safe mode but there's no display at all

I tried restarting it many times yet, the PC won't start
Please help.

lets try with the ez1 : Reset CMOS

How to reset CMOS:

Shut down PC & unplug power.

Hold power button 10 seconds.

Open side panel.

Locate CMOS battery (coin cell).

Remove it for 2 minutes.

Put it back & turn on PC.

Then run SFC

After DISM repair is complete, run:

sfc /scannow

This fixes damaged system files using the repaired Windows image.

I swear they're doing some bad things to win 10 so that more people switch to win 11

The CPU usage is low when at idle. As usual

I would just reinstall windows tbh, the hassle is not worth the trouble shooting
Reset CMOS, Reinstall Windows, Put back XMP
Any software problem will be fixed here

#

If it happens despite this, something wrong with hardware

#

Just reinstall windows

Is windows antivirus enough?

#

You don't need an anti virus if:

#
  1. You know what you're doing on the pc
  2. You don't download or run any random software
#

In my case, the program list is able to fit in just ONE screenshot

#

There is just game related or core software

Should I uninstall QuickHeal?

My go to solution when pc doesn't work software wise is windows reinstallation

#

I do a reinstall annually

Disable download or run permissions for all other users
