On the quest A Meta Discovery, and was farming power plant. Caught a shiny electrode, and the quest log was still showing 0/100 completed. Pic confirms the shiny was indeed caught.

The code probably was written for a nonshiny electrode. Did it count as a shiny in the other part of the quest?

I think what he meant us that when he caught a shiny electrode, it didn't count toward the 100 electrode you have to catch for the quest.

I had already completed the 3/3 shiny part so no clue there. Infineat was testing it yesterday and he said he managed to get the shiny to count towards the 100 electrodes so no clue

I mean who knows lol. Its a VERY minor bug if it even does exist. And if Infineat was able to test it out and confirm it was working as intended for him, I wouldnt worry too much about it here.

I know, and I tested it. It counted for me
that was the point of my comment. I asked it to be posted in case someone else has any idea. At this point I suppose it's too late to have asked for the save or to check if console showed something
