Added the fix for this to the companion so anyone can do it themselves now:

  • Go to the Companion tool: https://cypherx.github.io/../pokeclicker-companion/
  • Navigate to Tools -> Save Fixes
  • Select the A New World - Distortion World fix
  • Browse for and select the bugged save file (download a fresh copy from the game)
  • Click the Fix button and import the downloaded fixed save over the bugged save in PokeClicker
