The Premise
Following on from the original joint mission with FK, the players will find themselves returning to Altis to fight alongside the insurgency that is now gathering strength to fight back against the group now in power over the island known as the 'Altan Guardians'.
The objective is to complete this special standalone Antistasi mission within 24 hours of continual gameplay for a charitable cause, which will be listed below. The players will be given and advanced start in terms of weaponry and equipment as fitting to their element. The players will take on the role of NATO operatives supporting the Altan resistance fighters, although if a player wishes to play in the guise of a resistance member this will be allowed.
As the players push on and on, further 'upgrades' and support will come online in balance with the current game state and to simulate upscaling in military support from the relevant powers involved.
About the Charitable Cause
Originally I had intended to support one of the mainstream charities for this, but due to a recent event that is very close to home, have decided to focus the efforts on this. Sarah's (my long suffering wife) family is exceptionally close, not something I had growing up, and having been accepted into and now part of that family it is also very personal to me as well.
A few weeks ago Winston the Welsh Corgi, who belongs to my Brother-in-Law Rob and future Sister-in-Law Gemma suddenly was unable to use his back lags or otherwise take care of himself. Winston is a huge part of the family and Baby Elizabeth absolutely adores him.
At first it was thought that he had a tumour growing on his spine, but fortunately turned out to be a pair of enlarged or ruptured disks. Rob and Gem were left with the choice of operating with a 70-80% chance of success, also knowing the risk that it may not work, or having to put Winston to sleep. In their own words the second choice was never going to be a possibility and they went ahead.
Unfortunately we as a family are now left with a sizable bill as the pet insurance will only cover up to £4000 leaving us to find potentially another £4000-5000 to cover the rest of the expenses, the equipment to keep him going during rehabilitation, the rehabilitation and physiotherapy to help him walk again and anything else that may crop up along the way.
So there you have it. That's why we, or me at least are doing this. So far at the time of writing the GoFundMe page has raised just over £1000, (also thank you to those who have already donated), which was the target Rob set as he didn't think he'd even get close to that amount. This still leaves use very short of what could be an even larger bill.
No one but myself is obliged to do the full 24 hours or donate to what might seem like a private cause, but if you do wish to help in anyway or however small it would be gratefully received and appreciated. Feel free to either use your community name or real name, that's up to you.

We’re a couple of days away now from the big 24 hour Antistasi challenge and I’ve decided there’s going to be a giveaway at the end.
One lucky person will get a game or DLC of their choice on Steam (not a collection or bundle I should clarify). All you need to do is a make a minimum donation of £10 once the event & Twitch stream starts and let me know in the chat, we’ll then put your name on the list and spin the wheel at the end of the event.
Edit: Just a reminder, no one. It me is obligated to do the full 24. It those that do will get something out of it 😉
Now that the awesome 24 event is over, which we managed to complete in just over 23 hours, we’re back to normal on Chenarus Autumn

It is the Cold War.
From the 1940s to the late 50s, Colombia was embroiled in a period known as 'La Violencia', or 'The Violence'. Its cause was mainly mounting tensions between the two leading political parties, which subsequently ignited into full-scale civil conflict after the assassination of the Liberal presidential candidate Jorge Eliécer Gaitán on the 9th of April, 1948. 'La Violencia' continued to rumble on until the late 1950s, when in our time, the National Front was formed to bring about political stability through a coalition of the Colombian Conservative and Liberal Parties, though the peace was not to last, with the eruption of the Colombian Conflict in 1964. But what if the National Front had failed? What if La Violencia ended in a very different outcome?
In 1958, the Colombian political sphere was positively upended by the emergence of the Colombian Social Liberal Party of Vicente Ortega, which claimed victory in a landslide in the elections of 1961, bolstered by the masses of working poor that felt disillusioned with years of political and economic neglect by the Conservative-Liberal duopoly on power. Ortega claimed in his victory speech that he would deliver land, peace and bread to the Colombian people, and usher in a new age of prosperity for the country - "the usual talking points that politicians like to harp on about", in the words of General Augusto Benitez.
Ortega would deliver none of those things. After his hold on power was secured, he instituted a series of harsh repressive measures that he claimed were 'necessary to secure Colombians' safety', such as instituting curfews, banning gatherings, instituting martial law, and harshly cutting press and individual freedoms - slowly turning Colombia from a (troubled, admittedly) democracy into a near-police state. Colombians watched with despair as their promised economic boons vanished into the pockets of Ortega's friends and associates, whilst the burden of Ortega's hedonistic rule began to weigh ever more heavily on their shoulders. Disillusionment turned to despair... which turned into anger. Violent protests and rallies were held in 1963 in Bogota and other Colombian cities, which were brutally crushed by the Colombian army and Ortega's paramilitary, known as the EPR (Ejército Popular Republicano, or Republican People's Army), leading to heavy civilian loss of life. This repression only drove the resistance on both the left and right underground.
In desperation, the nascent resistance movements opposing Ortega unified under a singular banner, known as the Colombian People's Movement, and asked the United States to intervene on their behalf. The US, however, refused, citing their increasing involvement in Vietnam and other commitments... but the CIA were willing to lend a clandestine hand. Reaching out to the aforementioned General Benitez - no rebel himself, but sympathetic to their concerns - a CIA agent known as 'Petros' would be sent to Colombia to co-ordinate the rebel forces in co-operation with the CIA against Ortega's government. American troops were not forthcoming, but American weapons, aid and supplies would be - if the rebels could prove they were worth the time and money, that is. Meanwhile, Ortega had reached a deal with the Soviet Union - in exchange for economic and military aid, the Soviets would gain another foothold in South America. Only time would tell, however, if the Soviets would remain true to their word, or whether they had plans of their own...
On the 8th of March 1965, 3,500 U.S. Marines were landed near Da Nang, beginning the American ground war in Vietnam.
Two days later, Agent Petros arrived in Colombia on an illicit plane to begin the rebellion in full.
