i dont really wanna pay an extra 80 on windows for my new pc so i was wondering if i could use the ssd from my current pc which already has windows in the new one when i get it

No, windows uses a hardware ID, so the componets would be different and it wouldnt be activated

You'd need to reinstall it anyway

It might work - but won't be ideal, you'll have leftover drivers and software from your old PC, they could conflict with the drivers for the hardware in your new PC and cause strange issues.

Would recommend a fresh install of Windows just for the sake of stability
