Hello I recently got a new 1TB Samsung 990 Evo Plus SSD which I’ve installed onto my motherboard into the only M2 slot it’s got and I know for a fact the NVMe SSD is compatible with it but for some reason my PC doesn’t detect a new disk at all not in the bios or disk management or anything. I’ve tried everything I can think of and idk what to do pls help

Do you mean the SSD? I’ve already taken that thing out and put it in 100 times by now

Which motherboard do you have and which slot is your M.2 drive installed into?

Sometimes certain slots can be disabled if you have a certain configuration of SATA drives or PCIe devices

I have a H510m-A-Pro MSI motherboard and the drive is installed in the M.2_1 slot which is the only one that supports NVMe on my mobo I believe
