I've had this issue since my pc arrived a couple days ago. Everytime i try and play a game . After 5-10 mins of playing the games just crash , and sometimes the whole pc crashes .i have checked the temps and they seemed fine , I tried re-installing the gpu drivers . Disabled expo /lowered ram freq. Lowered gpu clock speed . Nothing seems to work .

Try turning off all overlays Nvidia, steam, amd? (Don’t know if AMD have one though) See if that work’s

Yer can be overlays, did on my old system, turned them off then never happened again

#

Even if u dont open them they can cause issues

It's true, I was getting PC crashes, black screens ect, first thought it was drivers, turns out it seemed to be overlays, turned off nvidia, steam and game bar, now I'm experiencing none at all. It's crazy how the smallest issue can be caused by the thing you'd not really think would cause it.

Think everyone on Nvidia side is having a rough time with BL4, more than likely overlays causing crashes with the AMD GPU.

right so ... i did some digging .. and when i say digging i mean deep fkin digging .. I`ve always used nvidia so i was lost when it comes to AMD gpu s . Turns out most amd gpus that come overclocked like ( Saphire Nitro + , Steel Legend... etc ) will automatically jump from 2500mhz to like 3100mhz for no reason just cause they re built like that. In Fps games and other games where u experience crashes / black screen . u need to undervolt + limit the power of the gpu so it doesnt jump to fk u mhz and crash your game .. This is for future reference to people who might experience this issue.

these are Counter strike specific settings that appear stable after testing . ( 9800x3d + 9070xt ) .. max frequency offset -300 ..voltage offset -25 .. power limit -10% .. fast timing enabled and max freq = 2800 . these might sound wild settings but they`re the only ones the game doesn t crash on so thats that.

performance wise in cs , with these settings i get -3% fps but at least i can play the damn game
