Hi, I have been recommended the Infinity X135 to run the above.

Wanted to reach out to see if anyone has experienced VR F1 25 with this machine or any similarly priced?

Ideal budget would be £1,000 - £1,500.

From what I have read so far I need minimum GPU 4090, however unsure as to what processor would be required, this will be my first gaming PC so any help appreciate!

the 7800X3D is better than the i5-14400F, the motherboard needed to be changed because of the platform change

the 9070XT is significantly better than the 9060XT 8GB

those are the major changes

How does the 7800X3D compare to the i9 14900K?

Ok and I notice there isn’t a WiFi card in the one you put together, is that because I would need Ethernet cable to play smoothly? Appreciate these may be complete noob questions!

neon mesa
#

the motherboard comes with wifi built in - there's no need for a separate wifi card

#

no problem with the questions - we all start somewhere!

Oh right that makes sense, from your knowledge is there anything else I should consider when looking to play F1 in Vr specifically?

neon mesa
#

there's nothing else i can think of - i think you're set

supple spindle
neon mesa
#

it can depend on the case - the majority of the time it's via a remote or a button on the case

#

that lets you cycle through presets

everything's plug and play - i recommend dusting it every 3-6 months, but other than that you're good to go

i changed the RAM to 5200MHz to get it as close to your budget as possible - if you have the extra room in your budget, i would go for it

#

there's not a significant difference in performance - but still some

supple spindle

Ok cool I think I will as it doesn’t work out too much more is proportion to my budget, I’ll go ahead with your recommendation, the changed case and RAM. Really appreciate your help with this as it’s all pretty new to me, been researching as much as one can the last few days

no problem - it's good to make informed decisions with research

the expected dispatch date is usually accurate - they use next-day delivery (for mainland UK), so it'd arrive the day after the expected dispatch date

as for fast tracking it's up to you - it's a tad expensive IMO - but it depends on how fast you want/need it

overclocking is an optional addon - not necessary at all, it's not really done that often anymore, and i don't really recommend it either - not needed for a good PC
