#PC startup

you'll need to go into BIOS and put your drive at the top of the boot priority order
How do I do that? 😅
when you switch the PC on keep pressing the delete key (DEL) until it throws you into BIOS, then navigate to the boot menu and usually the boot order is somewhere obvious
it can vary from PC to PC so if you're unsure where to go in BIOS just take a picture and i can direct you
are you doing it when the PC is turning on?

:tada: Congrats @gleaming rain, you levelled up to 1! :tada:
I’m pressing it when it’s on this screen
oh no you need to be pressing it when the PC turns on - so if you turn it off then as soon as you turn it on you should be clicking delete
ah good, now if you press on the boot page it should show you some more options
click on this option and switch it to whichever drive has "Windows" in its name
(#1)
you'll want to change it to UEFI Hard Disk:Windows...
I’ve changed #1 to this one
yeah that looks good
if you press F10 it should prompt save and exit
and click confirm/yes
though some PCs differ so you can also just click the button for save and exit at the top
Yeah thank you my pc is restarting now
:tada: Congrats @gleaming rain, you levelled up to 2! :tada:
press continue - it's just unhappy because your PC wasn't able to load into windows properly before i think
I tried pressing continue but it just takes me back to automatic repair screen
you can try booting into safe-mode to see if that helps:
- select Troubleshoot
- then select Advanced Options
- select Advanced Startup Options
- select Startup Settings
- select Restart
- it will prompt you to select an option after this step, select safe mode (which iirc is 4)
