I am looking at purchasing a prebuilt PC with decent warranty and hopefully a keyboard and mouse although the accessories are not vital.

I will be working with a budget of £2000 and just looking to get the maximum value for my money. It would be great to get some options and insights into a good prebuild with upgradeable components and hassle free in terms of compatiblity and hardware issues etc as I’m coming from console and just want less stress as possible in all honesty.

I will be using the PC to run games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, GTA 6, and Witcher 4. And in general to be future proof for UE5. I also want it for watch parties on Twitch aswell.

i'll make a config in a second for you to get maximum value for money

#

i advise going elsewhere for accessories - Cyberpower do have some, but their variety is limited and you could probably find more elsewhere

Appreciate it Miles

No worries

#

It’ll just be a keyboard and mouse I’d need so should be easily obtainable

it's better with raytracing, which is key for a few of the games mentioned

sweet thicket
#

Appreciated I’ll have a look at this now

#

I wouldn’t even be considering a prebuild but the warranty offered through cyber powered is really good

ionic geyser
#

yeah they're generally quite good with their warranty, there are extended warranty options at the bottom, but tbh you probably won't need it

#

most hardware either fails within the first few weeks (generally speaking, this isn't something you can really control), or lasts for years

#

Is DDR something to keep in mind?

#

I believe that’s the memory

ionic geyser
#

the DDR version is constricted by motherboard and CPU support

for the 9800X3D, you can only have DDR5

#

cyberpower's website won't let you select anything that's incompatible

#

the memory that's selected in the config i sent is 6000MHz, which is the optimal speed for AMD CPUs

#

Makes sense I’ll give this some thought

#

I think using Cyberpunk is a great place to start as it’s a really demanding game and I’m looking to return to streaming in September time hopefully

#

I’ve never really ran windows or done any install on drivers etc so it should be quite interesting

#

I just don’t want to break anything etc hence why I’m going to buy a prebuild which can hopefully last me 8 - 10 years minimum

Not really looking to buy the PS6 or whatever

other than that and windows updates it's pretty much plug and play

Nice one

Appreciate the help

np, lmk if you have any more questions

sweet thicket
#

No worries Miles, probably when I buy this PC and start to test it out

#

I’ll definitely be back

Just a quick one, but how long of a life cycle would you say this build has? If it was to stand the test of time and stack up against graphically heavy games in UE5?
