Hi guys,
I'm experiencing a persistent issue where the system fails to POST on warm boot when DIMM slot B2 is populated, even with QVL- supported Corsair DDR5-6400 memory. I've updated the BIOS, reset CMOS, reseated the CPU, tested at JEDEC speeds (DDR5-5600), and confirmed the CPU socket is clean with no bent pins. The issue is reproducible and not related to memory speed or instability. The board is a ROG Strix Z790-F Gaming WiFi.
I have 2 sticks in A2 B2, brand new ram kit, issue was also present when I had my old ram (same ram just 5600mhz).
I've tried all xmp profiles, set to auto, no difference at all. No overclock anywhere on system and can fully replicate the crash (not bsod) when I log into desktop, open a program then restart. Pc will power down then restart, the rgb on pc will light up, and DRAM LED will stay solid orange/yellow until i hard reset. Then it will power on with no issue. Only seems to be when restart or wake from sleep. And 2 sticks.
Memtest comes back all clear on single sticks and double.
Pc also won't post at all when DIMM A1 B1 is in use
:tada: Congrats @ivory cipher, you levelled up to 1! :tada:
