Ive had my PC since August but after January my WiFi has been terrible on my PC. I cannot play multiplayer without disconnecting/lagging

My WiFi is perfect for everything other device. My xbox can run the same games and has no issues

I've moved PC two meters closer to the WiFi box and there's no improvement

The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I got a new Monitor, but everything I've read says that shouldn't affect WiFi. I've asked PC building friends and they have no idea

Any ideas/help would be appeciated thank you

you should download the wifi drivers from your motherboards website directly

Ive went to the website and downloaded the wifi driver for my motherboard, but when i run the setup it says the software isnt supported on the platform. Im not sure what else i can do

I believe so it was the wifi driver for the "MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI" from their website

alright - sounds like it's not properly recognising the wifi on the motherboard

i recommend updating BIOS to the latest stable version (i.e. not a beta version)

then see if it picks it up after that

Took me a while but i figured out how to update the Bios

#

And that allowed me to update the wifi driver, but now my wifi is worse, basically instantly disconnect from games now

Which is strange since the wifi bar itself for my PC is still full bars

Even though the test says 60mb download speed, the game I'm currently downloading is downloading between 3 and 8 mb a second

that says 60 megabit - your game downloading is likely in megabytes

Thank you for the help so far, I've made a ticket to Cyberpower to see if they have any ideas what I can do
