So, I have decided to go with this build because I didn't want an RGB look apart from the two front fans and the RAM, I have not included any RGB. I also wanted a compact pc because I have minimal space on my desk. I chose a faster SSD for booting Windows and a slightly slower one for all other storage. Is this the best build value build I can get for my money's worth? (I know I've been on this thread a lot picking isn't easy xD)
#I configured this PC, and I've been trying a lot to make the perfect PC for gaming for me.

are you dead set on a 5080? the 5070 ti is much better value
the 5080 is 10-20% better but costs £350 more
i wouldn't describe the 5080 as a value for money card tbh when the 5070 Ti exists
Oh sorry didn't see the 10-20 percent thing
:tada: Congrats @mild swan, you levelled up to 1! :tada:
I just checked it's 234 less

also - an X series motherboard isn't necessary, it's pretty much optional as you get most of the good features on B series motherboards
I want it cause it's the newest thing on the market haha

Oh yeh it does
it's entirely up to you though if you want the 5080 - personally, i consider it bad value (because of the 5070 Ti) but again, entirely up to you
I will make that decision at checkout haha
Question
Will they know how to coordinate the SSD installs
like what I need them for
you can leave specific instructions when you make an order iirc
i'm sure even if you left it blank they'd use the mp700 for windows since it's so fast
Okay another thing what was the difference again between the 870 and 850
850 has USB 4
you won't be able to overclock with B series motherboards iirc - not really something worth mentioning though, overclocking voids your warranty
I see okay also I noticed there is an overclocking option should I avoid that?
overclocking isn't necessary honestly
I just picked the PSU the next one down appr it supports 50 series better 25 difference
Do you know if I will get a UK plug socket with it?
:tada: Congrats @mild swan, you levelled up to 3! :tada:
iirc the 5070 Ti can run on a 750w PSU, and the 5080 can run on an 850w PSU
you will yes
just to mention - there are two companies with the name CyberPowerPC, one in the US (commonly referred to as CPUS) and one in the UK (commonly called CPUK)
they're two separate companies operating under the same branding
which is unfortunate... for the uk company
Well that's something new I learnt today had no clue then why we paying VAT (don't think that's how it works lol)
Also is it fine if i have 1000w with a 5070ti?
yeah - there's nothing wrong with having a higher wattage PSU than necessary, it's good for futureproofing your system if you ever want to make upgrades that require a higher wattage PSU
