#New PC having memory issues

I got my computer yesterday and have had a couple issues with it crashing. Sometimes it gives bsod sometimes it just restarts.

I tried looking at the errors and it seemed it could be memory related. Windows memory test suggests hardware fault and I am currently running a memtest that is finding errors. I am using the corsair dominator 48gb 7200mhz, does anyone have suggestions for possible problems and resolutions? I have tried re-inserting the sticks.

if that doesn't work try 4800MHz to test if the issue persists, if it does it's bad RAM

I have not enabled xmp, would I need to do something with that and would xmp void warranty?

and no XMP does not void warranty

In bios it said default not xmp so I thought it was not enabled

oh that's strange - in memtest86 what does it say the ram speed is?

that's bad - XMP is in fact disabled (it's running at 4800MT/s) and you're having loads of errors

you'll need to contact CPUK to get replacement RAM - in the meantime (since they're closed weekends sadly) you could try one stick, if not the other

they'll do a door swap where they take the old RAM and give you new RAM to put into your system

instead of you having to send your entire system back to CPUK

I only got the PC yesterday and only got to set it up around 6pm 😢

i recommend sending them an e-mail, let them know about the memtest errors and possibly ring them up (it's fastest)
