:tada: Congrats @hollow lagoon, you levelled up to 1! :tada:
might take a bit tho cause of slow internety
is there a way to send the results or do i have to screenshot it
a screenshot will do
looks to be fairly normal, to be fair after a while it's normal for a PC to degrade in performance but that usually takes months or even years (depending on how well you manage your windows install)
Well it takes like a week or 2 then I reset and it's fine
:tada: Congrats @hollow lagoon, you levelled up to 2! :tada:
Like normally on beamng high with traffic I get over 30 yet I barely got over 20 today
And it really confuses me and I want to do something about it but nothing works and I haven't got the money for another gpu
i'd recommend reinstalling via USB next time you want to reset, you'll lose all files but it's better than repeatedly resetting
If you are upgrading from Windows 10, you may need to enable TPM and Secure Boot in order to proceed with the Windows 11 installation - please follow the TPM & Secure Boot guide below first.
:warning: When reinstalling Windows, you will lose any files which are not backed up to the cloud or an external drive - please ensure any files you would like to keep are backed up before continuing.
:one: Click the button below and download the 'Create Windows 11 Installation Media' tool.
:two: Follow through the installation tool, and choose 'USB flash drive' when prompted. Your USB flash drive must be 8GB or greater.
:three: Once the tool has finished, shut down the PC you're installing Windows on and insert the USB drive.
:four: Next, repeatedly press the following key while your PC is turning on, depending on your motherboard:
ASUS/ROG: F8
Aorus/Gigabyte: F12
MSI/ASRock/Cyberpower: F11
Then choose your USB drive from the list to boot from it.
:five: Follow through the installation tool. When it asks for your product key, click Skip - your PC will automatically reactivate. Make sure to select the same Windows version as you ordered with your PC, then choose a Custom installation.
:six: Select the drive in which you would like to install Windows on (you will want to install Windows on your SSD, this is typically a smaller drive), delete any partitions which already exist and then select Drive # Unallocated Space, and click Next.
:seven: Once your PC restarts, you will be taken to the first-time setup screen, where you can setup your user account and preferences.
That's one of the ways I do it but I don't know to use windows 10 or 11
?
Which would be better for performance overall windows 10 or 11?
windows 11 is newer so i'd go with that
wait so what should i do as of now>
it's up to you - i'd recommend reinstalling windows manually with a USB to minimise the chance this is software related
as for your current specs - there's not much you can really do, your specs are performing within a reasonable range of an average system, you may just be reaching the limits of your hardware
could it have been from me not updating nvidia graphic drivers in a while and not downloading windows 24h2?
updating your drivers is important but it wouldn't cause you to need to reset your PC every 2 weeks
fair
:tada: Congrats @hollow lagoon, you levelled up to 3! :tada:
but its really weird cause ive never had this with non cyberpower products
like i used to have an asus laptop and i would say it might have been better than my pc in its current state
and i think this pc might be bottlenecked since i feel like i get better performance with medium/high graphics
your specifications aren't exactly top tier which is probably part of the problem unfortunately
what were the specs?
ryzen 5 4500u with 4gb ddr4 and integrated graphics i think athlon gold
hmm well that shouldnt outperform your system from cyberpower
