sometimes the remote has a little plastic tab inside that's poking out to stop it from draining power while not being used (during shipping for example), have you removed it?

They’ll sort it if needed - can you try switching to Motherboard setting and using the motherboard branded software for RGB and see if that works?

It would have all passed QA, so I’m guessing it’s a loose connection somewhere but if you’ve checked that all over it may have a fault by complete bad luck

Sorry I couldn’t get it sorted for you, honestly it’s more than likely that the hub is on the mobo but I won’t know until it’s back 100% bit so sure about the stalker 2 issue to be fair.

But clearly, this pc is FUBAR because it’s windows updates aren’t working it keeps notifying me of the same update and asking for a restart. Stalker 2 fresh install, stuck on loading screen rgb fans full whack and no way to control them

Oh and I’ve just powered it back on and it’s gone dead straight away

Windows 11 Installation

If you are upgrading from Windows 10, you may need to enable TPM and Secure Boot in order to proceed with the Windows 11 installation - please follow the TPM & Secure Boot guide below first.

:warning: When reinstalling Windows, you will lose any files which are not backed up to the cloud or an external drive - please ensure any files you would like to keep are backed up before continuing.

:one: Click the button below and download the 'Create Windows 11 Installation Media' tool.
:two: Follow through the installation tool, and choose 'USB flash drive' when prompted. Your USB flash drive must be 8GB or greater.
:three: Once the tool has finished, shut down the PC you're installing Windows on and insert the USB drive.

as i said, try plugging your display cable into your motherboard

as then you can get a display to at least do the install if gpu isnt outputting anything

Tried 5 different cables, hdmi etc

Honestly mate sounds like it’s bricked somewhere along the way. Could genuinely be a loose connection but I’ve no doubt you’ve had a good look over it all.

If you get it back to CPUK, they’ll get it sorted and QA’d in a couple days all back to normal. I am a bit baffled at your luck though lad

Specs are solid and from good quality brands, nothing stands out as a mismatch or error. PSU failure rates are like 0.04%, RAM is very low failure and the GPUs are all good brands

So I’d like to be able to point a finger at something with ya but I think you’ve got a scooby dooby mystery to solve here

Speaker beeping usually VGA or RAM.

You’ve done CMOS, so we’ll assume that the BIOS is fine.

I assume you’ve used the GPU HDMI + not the motherboard one when plugging in the monitors?

It’s a weird one mate I’ll be honest. You’ve done all the troubleshooting I would do including a windows reinstall. Bios is fine, assuming both the display cable/hdmis you used are working too etc etc.

i'd advise trying different combinations of ram, stick 1 in slot 2/4 (or 1/2 if you only have 2 slots) because no picture out could be that

Could give RAM a go especially with the beeping in mind, usually goes to VGA or RAM.

it might be the motherboard, unlikely to be PSU or CPU because their failure rates are so low

I get it with being on barracks, it’s a headache. But it does happen fairly often esp with newer specs - you’ll be rebuilt and warrantied and good to go

My recommendation is get it back and let them fix it up so you can enjoy a nice unwind on site after training, but if you do want the money back I won’t try stop you, you’re very much within your right to request a refund still

when you tested the motherboard integrated graphics did you take out the GPU?

taking out a gpu isn't too difficult, but if you're sure you don't want to you don't have to

it's just integrated graphics won't work if you have a graphics card in already

so you just do the first half and try with integrated graphics

if no luck you can put it back in

i used that but i didnt unplug the gpu from the cable and then popped it straight back

so i need to fully remove the GPU and then plug into the MOBO

when i took out the foam there was a teeny tiny peice of plastic that looked like it fell off of the gpu

the guy who dropped it off was heavy handed i actually had to tell him off for how he put it down on the floor when it arrvied

but no damage exept from my heart jumping out of my mouth

a tiny little peice of plastic from the top of the gpu power port has come off in the post by the looks of it

That’ll probs be a clip, from the PSU cable that goes into the GPU. Won’t be stopping your PCs ability to work though

if it does end up being your GPU that's at fault CyberPower may do a door swap with the broken GPU where you exchange the old (broken) GPU for a new one

It was already installed I just basically did what you’d do on an iPhone a factory reset

Well bad windows can lead to crashes and not booting, but I’d imagine you can reach BIOS

Wiped all my files and started as if I’d just powered it on the first time it actually downloaded the windows update after I did that as I could connect to the internet whilst doing the initial setup (I have to put my devices MAC address on a page for it to auto connect to the internet without logging in)
