I just noticed a strange sound coming from the rad of my AIO, you can hear it along side the fans. Currently having no temp issues but I’m concerned as to what this issue could be?

Sounds like air bubbles imo

yeah i read that online too, any idea how to rectify that?

#

i mean its not a major issue as its still doing its job, just the noise is a right pain in the ass lol

Did you try tilting the PC and like rocking in back and forth gently whilst it's on?

#

If it ain't air bubbles trapped then idk what it could be ;-;

i havent tried that, ill try it now. should i put the pump on full speed while i do that?

Good thing is the AIO is clearly working if your temps are low, could be air bubbles or maybe one of the fan bearings broke or something I got no other ideas

yeah this sounds like air bubbles - as you said nothing major, will probably solve itself eventually but you can try tilting it gently to see if it helps

yeah sounds good!! cheers :D

stupid addon to this ticket but, im using L connect to change the speed of the fans that are connected to the rad. im now stupidly realising and assuming that is not also changing the pump speed of the AIO...any idea on how to see that/change it? i used HWinfo but instead of saying AIO pump it just says "CPU" and "System 2"

what aio do you have

did a quick search and apparently to change pump speed you have to do it in BIOS

#

Says pump is 0 :/ but I’d imagine if that was actually 0 my cpu would be cooked by now 😂

#

the 3300rpm one

#

sometimes they use a different header

loud barn
#

Ahhh right right

#

Should the CPU one (the pump) be a constant 3300+ RPM?

restive oriole
#

yes

#

that's the default for that AIO

This leads me to believe it’s a fan issue then like you mentioned earlier, as when changing the fan speeds the sound changes.
