5080 releases soon which would be in budget so i recommend waiting for that
He doesnโt want to wait at least thats what heโs said to me earlier
they release on the 30th
Good morning, thanks for choosing these builds, would love the Lian Li 011 Vision case, could i have a different CPU cooler in this build?

I might be asking too much here,i have never had a MSI CPU Cooler before, could you send me a picture of this cooler?,i have heard that Corsair AIO CPU Coolers are good?
I do not need a monitor, headset, keyboard, mouse, would love a mouse mat though
these are the mouse pad options on the config page
Hmm ok what about a different AIO cooler?,i dont know of any other brands
Here are the 360mm (recommended for your spec) options on the website
So you dont recommed Corsair AIOs?
Corsair AIOs perform well on their own, but their software is awful (imo)
also i noticed you have another build thread where you wanted to wait for new parts to release, they haven't released yet but release soon (next couple weeks), would it be worth waiting to get better value?
Would i actually need a 50 series GPU just for simulators?
it'd be better value
I do have the ICUE Software currently but not for PC parts,Headphones & keyboard
and the release date being so close would mean buying a 40 series right now wouldn't be the wisest idea because you'd be a generation old almost immediately
Right ok so a 50 series GPU i wise?
Would echo that Corsair AIO's are really good coolers, noise, engineering , but the iCue software really is bloody awful.
Personally would wait for the 50 series GPUs to be released and check the real world performance and pricing for systems, then order a banging Cyberpower build
Hmm ๐
Would love a Ryzen 9 x3d CPU but @errant hamlet said they are worse for simulators?
ryzen 9 x3d doesn't exist yet tmk. the ryzen 7 9800X3D is the best gaming CPU out there and will definitely suffice for the task
Right ok then, would love plenty of RGB Fans, what would you recommend in a white build?
the lian li uni infinity fans are very nice
Cool, could you send me a picture?
they're in this system, they'll be selected under "Case Fans"
it's selected in the config i linked
not really necessary
Right ok,Special Offer: CyberPowerPC Gamer Gaming BUNDLE (Includes 1080P Monitor + Headset + Keyboard + Mouse + Mouse Pad) [+99],i already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, would love a mouse pad though
๐
๐
Would need to measure my pull out desk first
So which mouse pad would you recommend?
Would like a different AIO CPU Cooler, which are the best for x3d chips?
Pick one
Literally any of them that you like the look of.
and are you actually going to buy this one
I keep seeing build threads
Yes most definitely @tired turtle ,my mind is set,can you delete the other thread?
I said 9 x3d doesnโt exist yet but non x3d would give less fps
But you heard on socials all ryzen 7 was bad
Its hard to give advice when later you see something on tiktok etc thats different from what we say
I am sticking with your advice
Good morning all,how are things?,with the 6 Lian Li Uni RGB fans,do they require there own software ?
:tada: Congrats @hoary silo, you levelled up to 21! :tada:
Yes, they run with SignalRGB, or the official software, L-Connect.
Great thanks ๐,so i am thinking of changing the AIO
CPU Cooler, which one would you recommend with a LCD screen?
Right ok,so which ones do CPUK stock again?
It would be available on the config.
^^ here is the list that @grave ingot posted earlier
Wow so many ,so which ones have LCD Screen ?
Cooler master White would be great in my Lian Li 011 case ๐
it says in the titles/names
Hmm Cooletmaster have no LCD screen,so
Right got you, which one would you pick in the config?
Would like a LCD display ๐
pick one with a LCD display then
I will thanks ๐,which motherboard would be best in my case
any of them you like the look of, you don't need a high-end one
Ok what a MSI 870?
these are my recommended specs
Cool, would like to pick a better CPU Cooler
they all perform the same task at basically the same level, you won't really notice any difference between any of them
:tada: Congrats @grave ingot, you levelled up to 26! :tada:
to extend on that: there's no major benefit to a 'better' cpu cooler since they're all 360mm
i.e., it's not necessary
So which one is the best ?
There's not a lot of difference, whichever you like the look of
The PC that Miles sent above looks solid

Wow cool,Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI: ATX w/ Wi-Fi 6E, USB 3.2, 3x M.2,how many USB Ports does this motherboard have?
It would say in the specs
Just click on the little question mark next to it
You need to use a riser if on the floor
He still needs encouragement to not put it on carpet
yes, donโt put it on the carpet
youโll kill it
slowly but surely blocking air intake to the power supply
and no, the feet donโt raise it up high enough if itโs on carpet directly, you need a riser
yes itโs the same for all cases
^
@tired turtle been having words with @errant hamlet about a riser for my Lian Li case
is that a statement or a observation
And I said to get one
the lack of comma confuses me
that could insinuate that I was having words with Simpson,
Observation pal, never used a riser before
It's not that tall. It wouldn't cause any height issues with your desk considering before we've realised there's a lot of clearance
Unless it's a really thick carpet it will be fine, can always just have something sitting underneath like a plank of wood if its a problem
There is 74CM under my desk
Even if thin carpet I wouldn't chance it given its a pc worth over 2 grand
@rough temple i do planks of wood
And the pc is 46cm or so and a riser will be what? 10-20cm? Easily enough space
Worst thing that could possibly happen is the PSU fan being blocked, but most cases have feet to lift it up off the ground and a filter to prevent dust, only main issue other than that is it might get dusty a bit quicker
which means, you would have to dust it out, more often.
So for the sake of ยฃ13 may as well save yourself the hassle
I know guys,i will think of a way guys
time is ticking
Get an under desk mount
Could you please provide Linus to a riser or under desk mount?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's something you can easily sort out after you get the PC if it becomes a problem

Good morning all,how are you?,can someone tell me what the MAX part is on my current Motherboard,my guess is the Hardrive but not 100% sure,so close to the release of the 5070 GPUs now
it's just the name of the motherboard it's a newer version than the non-max ones
Cool thanks ๐

Good afternoon all,how are things?,is this my Hardrive space?
And is this my RAM?
Yes & Yes
Thanks for that @spare urchin ,so upgrading to possibly 2 32GB RAM is a big step for me,so not sure
64gb total?
seems unnecessary
Ok so what would you suggest with a RTX 5070 GPU + a MSI Motherboard?
32gb of ram is the sweet spot imo
And i dont know which MSI Motherboard
32gb of ddr5 would be fine. Msi b650 tomohawk or gaming plus would be fine
Hi all,how are things?.is my monitor a 4K monitor,49โ Curved LG UltraGear 1440,240Hz ,AMD Freesync
Highest resolution is 5120x1440
5120x1440 is an ultrawide resolution at 1440p
Not 4k
Right thanks for that,so now no point getting a 4K GPU is there?
Depends what you mean anything really above an RTX 4070 can handle 4k
1440p is more than good though
5070 is more a 1440p gpu anyway
Great stuff, just thinking @errant hamlet about our chat about a USB External HDD,now i have not bought one before,so do i order the one you recommended ?

that's the one simpsons sent
Thanks @grave ingot ,will take a look now ๐
USB 3.0,now does my current MSI B450M Pro motherboard have USB 3.0?
yes
Can you possibly show me the USB 3.0 port on my current motherboard?
the blue ones
I cannot find my motherboard on Cyberpower lol
it's old so there's no reason for it to be on cyberpower
they'll only show their stock
Right ok pal thanks for the advice
Found one
So where will the USB cable go for my HDD when i get one ?
into a blue port
Great stuff,or failing that ,there are USB ports on the top front of my pc case here
So for peace of mind,I could use this USB 3.1 port here ๐๐
Which is a lot easier for the HDD to sit on top of case

Sooner the better for 5070 stock but between now and then prices may change slightly. If you are happy with it I'd get it ordered so it comes sooner
ยฃ300 VAT ๐ญ๐ญ
? That's just how vat works. It's a non negotiable and nothing cpuk can do
It's better to not look at vat. Every purchase you make in the UK includes vat. Some groceries may have a reduced vat rate but 99% of non essential items are 20%
Ok so no case fans
You can add some but you have a 3 fan rgb cpu cooler and the gpu has 2 fans.
I didn't add any as you wanted to keep costs as low as possible
3x white fans sets are ยฃ80-ยฃ110
Ok so how many RGB fans in this?
:tada: Congrats @hoary silo, you levelled up to 2! :tada:
3 from the cpu cooler
Ok would like more
RGB fans Top,Base if possible
As heard that x3d CPUs can overheat
X3d chip is completely cooled by the cpu cooler and the corsair one with 3 fans is good enough to keep the cpu cool. The additional case fans would be to cool other components but gpu has 2 fans anyway
7800x3d is actually very easy to cool
Maybe the 9800x3d is harder to cool but 7800x3d can be cooled with a 2 fan cpu cooler
So the corsair cpu cooler chosen would stop that from happening easily
corsair cpu
There
Right ok ๐๐ป
Cpuk may even add a rear fan anyway if they feel it's needed but may not be rgb
Ok great ๐๐ป
Is the GPU a branded one?
it's whatever they have in stock, usually:
- palit
- gainward
- msi
- asus
- possibly others
PALIT sounds mean lol

are you actually buying it now
This saga has been going on for a long time beginning to think this dude is trying to waste peoples time
For what ever reason
||Literally years, not just this thread||
Wait actually?
โ
@grave ingot hang it up bruh i wouldnโt entertain this much longer
We can't let the thread die x
This guy is a fraud
@grave ingot not right now pal
i don't mind helping out as long as you're actually serious about buying it - when the time comes, we'll help you configure a PC, but unless that time is now there's really no point
configured PCs only last so long on the website because of price changes, stock of parts, etc
I understand that @grave ingot
Wonโt be this month though as only just got my ESA & PIP rates
Hold fire dude it is exciting stuff but until you can send it on the build just chill
I will let you guys know
:tada: Congrats @hoary silo, you levelled up to 6! :tada:
This has got to be generational rage bait
Why ?
Literally said chill on the build talk until you are able to make the purchase. He said thereโs really no point configuring a build now
Just chill homie. Have the build discussion again when you actually buy it otherwise itโs just a waste of time
You've been told so many times, wait until you want to buy. There is no point in us wasting our time to make you configs when as Miles said: stock levels change, price changes, items change and/or become unavailable, the config links only work for 2 weeks and will then be removed.
Not trying to be rude, but this has been going on for months and you're wasting everyones time
Yeah best to wait to do a config when you're ready to buy like the guys above said
Yeah you should probably wait until your ready to buy to create a config like the fellas on top said ๐
Always making it zesty bro
