what expectations did you have btw, how did you research these expectations and what sources did you use for them
chatgpt, people ik who have pcs, social media, google
was expecting like 200 fps in br but atp i just want high 100s
the best way to get information about a combination is to use youtube videos which display the performance with the specs that you want
i also did that. someone else's pc had the same cpu and they were getting like 250 fps, but it isn't the graphics card bottlenecking since if i change things lik 3d resolution it makes no difference on performance, or textures etc
6gb ram?
what settings on fortnite are you playing, also are you using nvidia control panel to change the settings?
My guess it’s either trying on low medium settings when these fortnite expectations are from tests on performance modes. Could also be resolution based. Also those 200 plus fps could be based off years ago fortnite. Guess you meant 16gb ram
My guess is those tweakers have also led your cpu to throttling if using an air cooler when others are using aios
Fortnite OG is back! Kind of, the new Fortnite Reload brings us a mini Fortnite OG mode featuring a mini chapter one map, as well as OG graphics and loot.

This video shows around 140 and thats on reload which tendsto get a bit higher fps so im not sure where the 200 plus is from unless they have better graphics cards
Or could they be playing at like 720p
We’ve had people before claiming much higher FPS expectations on Fortnite but once checked they’re getting as expected
A cpu like 5700x can get 250fps plus but it is a much better cpu
