#Multiple issues with PC constantly crashing - even when running Chrome/Edge

Hello - got the PC from Cyberpower in April 2024. I've had no issued until rather recently, when I get a lot of "VRAM warnings" - even when running games like Kenshi on low.

I have an i9-14900KS, and a RTX 4090. I'm aware that there have some been issues with the i9's.

I re-update the BIOS, rest CMOS and completed a competely fresh Windows install following advice from Microsoft Tech Support. Talking on Reddit, someone was saying there's a possibility that the CPU has failed/been fried

I've attached a screenshot of the performance monitor they advised me to check out. There are also a lot of errors relating to "KERNELBASE.dll" - I'm facing numerous crashes every day

Thought I'd post on here instead of creating a ticket on the sinte, incase anyone knows of any fixes

it's a windows update that clashes with old versions of the drives firmware

Go to WD website and download the software that updates the SSDs firmware and it'd fix the crashing

Western Digital Dashboard then just update the SSD and restart PC then hopefully problem fixed 😄

Omg if thats the case that'll be the easiest fix ever (and quicker than talking to twelve different MS techs aha)

If you just click on Analyze or whatever the button is then scroll down when it loads it'd show the crashes

No valid crash dumps, which is strange cause I keep getting thrown to desktop from most apps

Any idea on an app that can run diagnostics on hardware?

I don't really know any to diagnose hardware but 3DMark and Furmark to stress test a PC

How old is the PC too are you still within warranty, maybe it could be something that official support can have a look at?

Well at least the WD SSD won't be an issue whenever your PC gets updated to 24H2 kek

Although you could keep it open as it may help the official support staff look over what steps you've done already to try and diagnose it
