The 7800X3D is defo not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, and it is still a great CPU.
Depending on what kind of games you're playing, you may struggle to get ultra graphics on high settings, for this price point,

Trying to get the best bang for the buck, is probably going to be a prebuilt for you, This is £99 over budget, but it does have a 4070 super, and a 7800X3D,

That’s probably best you’ll find for a 7800x3d 4070 super build. Always thought it’s great value but i wouldn’t hold out for Black Friday discounts on these as i don’t think cpuk do much for Black Friday as all the best offers are already available

# forest wadi All the motherboards in the config support the new cpus, it’s just they release ...

Oh right I wasn’t sure when I called their customer service support and told them I wanted to upgrade the CPU to the 9800X3D he recommended me change the motherboard so just followed his advice maybe he was trying to make extra money for them not sure but it’s done I forgot to mention I also changed the M.2 SSD to M2SSD1: 2TB MSI M482 M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD - 7300MB/s Read & 6400MB/s Write [+69] (1 Drive)

I think customer service do tend to prefer recommending higher end motherboards but probably as the newer ones maybe better with the 4 stick ram issue but idk. That ssd is the one i recommend to most people when its in stock. It goes in and out of stock quite a bit i think
