I purchased from CyberPowerPC a new laptop, an MSI 17 Vector, the screen has 3 noticable backlight white spots on right side of screen, should I ask for a replacement? I don't know if I'm being too petty, I didnt have this issue badly with my old hp omen laptop, its easily noticeable with the screen being dark/black

You can email in, it’s never going to be 100% guaranteed that you’re going to get a new laptop and it not have a similar issue, also it’s not the worst I’ve seen but yeah it’s not ideal. I believe MSI have some tolerance that they may say is fine, but I can’t remember the rules off the top of my head better to check with the guys above

It is quite noticeable, is it like this when you're fully in Windows too?

Only when the area is darker, so like brown colours etc

Nah it’s not a problem, see what they say, if they say it’s alright to send back etc, I process the returns, I don’t mind checking a replacement to make sure it’s alright etc before we send it
