Possibly corrupt system files
Try and open command prompt in Administrator and type SFC /scannow
Worked for me once it resolved some issues
ok i alao have this
Oh I think you might have to contact support then
???? why
Hardware problems can be sorted out under warranty
Oh right that’s unlucky
You could try reseating your ram
ok ima try wiping them softly aswell while im at it
dont need that thanks. learned to in collage
Alright
but thanks for help
No problem
I'd run a few scans:
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
If the latter shows issues then:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
All in an elevated cmd
if i do these and it still shows problems ???
the sfc command and switch will fix the issues and the "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" will fix disk image problems
i know that but what if i keep getting bluescreened after?
then it won't be a windows issues directly, it could be a 3rd party driver or hardware issue
well memory diognostics said hardware issue but il do your way first
always worth a try
it found currupt files apparently
If it is mem, then a test of each stick on their own will point to which is the problem
ah
must have been force shutdown when i accidently restarted when shutting down
it happens
nearly there
just as side note, always best to run DISM with the ScanHealth switch first, just to see what is damaged/corrupt before doing RestoreHealth
OK, you're going to need to do this in the Windows Restore Env., i.e. before booting into windows
It's probably BSOD'ing because it is trying to fix the file that is casuing the issue
ok bht how i get to that.... ib recovery???
Boot your PC, when you see the windows logo shut it down (case power button), do that 3 times and it will throw you into the WinRE
From there ... Advanced -> Troubleshooting -> Advanced -> CMD Prompt (if I recall from mem!)
ok good job i got m.2 ssd
once at the CMD prompt, do all the sfc and DISM stuff again
ok im in
if it BSOD's here, then it probably is mem!
Sorry, it's Sunday! You need to the run the commands in "offline" mode
You will need to know the partitions of where things are:
Type: diskpart
Then once that is running type: list volume
and post a pic
OK, I'm going to assume C: is windows and D is your System Reserved partition (do you have a D: drive?)
it's hidden so no 🙂
sfc /scannow /offbootdir=D:\ /offwindir=C:\windows
oh ... type "exit" to quit from diskpart
aorry fir some reason my keyboard american and i cant seem to guess the back slash is haha
but forward slash works too i guess
nope, they need to be the correct slashes
did it do any fixes?
Up to you ofc
i dobt want to tho
ima just get a cloth and wipe ram sticks carefully
and see if any issues fized
unless you have another way round it
Well, since you're in the WinRE, you could try to let Windows do a a repair... The options are there at the start of the WinRE
oof
is this hardware issue or windows??
I would try removing a mem stick, see if it boots, if it does shut it down and swap it for another and so on
i mays well replace coolent at same time since its over due
its cool
