new pc has just arrived at my girlfriends who has no pc knowledge and isn't comfortable with doing internal work, i suspect it's a dead PSU as there's no power at all, walked her through checking all cables and connections, all looked good and secure but still no power, checked the wall plug by just plugging something else in and ruled that out so it only can really lead to a dead PSU

- psu switch flicked onto the I position?
- front IO power might have become loose on transit
So when you press the power button nothing will happen
i'll check front io panel again and get back to you but psu switch is in the on position
seems like one of the connectors is loose, gonna get her to reseat it and recheck
Send pics if possible
seems like one of the pins was bent in shipping for the power connector
Pictures please
actual might be the reset switch pins that are bent now looking at it
