Looking to buy a new PC, long term investment and quite beefy, link above for the current working theory. Just had a few concerns I was hoping someone could advise on:
-
Looking to buy either a 4090 or 4080/4080 Super with a Ryzen 9 7950x / X3D CPU. I don't really want to buy liquid cooling as I anticipate it'll be a lot of maintenance and could easily go wrong so was looking at air cooling, but there don't seem to be many options, and they're all quite cheap. Do you think the selected Be Quiet cooler will be enough to keep the CPU cool considering all the stock platforms seem to come with AIOs and there are many more AIOs at higher price points?

Weighing up between the Ryzen 9 7950X and 7950X3D. The 3D is more expensive with double the L3 Cache but the X has a higher base clock and is overclockable, is there expected to be much performance difference between the two, and if so which would be better?

Definitely want a minimum of 32GB RAM, but is it much worth going above? I noticed that every stock PC on the site seems to start at 32GB, even the £5k PC, despite the options for 64GB and above. I'm aware there are diminishing returns above 32GB, but are there improvements worth having, and I've also heard that having too much RAM can actually be a negative as the RAM sits unused, is this expected at 32GB or 64GB, or only higher?

The case comes with 3 120mm fans but has room for 4 more fans. Is it worth it or needed to have the additional fans given the PC will be on the higher end spec? How noisy would you expect the PC to be as a result of all the case fans + the CPU air cooler?
Thanks a lot for any and all support you're able to provide
:tada: Congrats @ripe echo, you levelled up to 1! :tada:
