I’m going to try get you to a 4080, 4070 on 4k will probably get its butt kicked just a tad

No worries it's not needed but something I'll liked to have without effecting performance

I’m getting to about 2.5k. @twin terrace how has the 4070ti super been doing in 4k?

#

Would it be acceptable to put that in the system made for 4k or stick to 4080 ideally?

wanton vale
#

I don't need WiFi on the mother board also if that saves ££

#

I'm a cable guy

twin terrace
#

4070 ti super is okay at 4K but a 4080 would do batter

wanton vale
#

Also I really don't want to go above say 2.4k

#

I'm tempted to just do the 2.5. What would be performance differnce with these fps wise

#

That’s with the 4070ti super. Like Danny said it should be OK. But if you are playing graphic heavy games you may find lowering resolution slightly will make performance better

#

If you want to stick to 4k nonstop, I’d go for the 4080. But it’s your choice and you should be fine with either route

wanton vale
#

Awesome I have some thinking to do

#

Be one of the 2 you posted

round shell
#

What games do you tend to play?

wanton vale
#

ATM helldivers Fivem. New stalker in September. I like my fps games too. Also sim racing like f1, Iracing etc

#

My current build is ryzen 9 3900x 2060xc h100i pump. 32gb 3000mhz

round shell
#

Oh I bloody love Helldivers 2 at the moment lol

#

If you’re running those I’d go for the 4080 personally. It’ll work out nicely long term for you

#

I have a strix 3080 and run it in 1440p max everything it’s beautiful

wanton vale
#

Yeah I'm thinking long term my current rig is 4 years old. I was thinking going 2k or 4k but decided 4k as I can change res to 2k and dlss picks up the slack of res

#

If i need to go to 2k for some games that is

round shell
#

Exactly always good to have something that covers it all without a problem

wanton vale
#

Okay I think you convinced me to spend the extra 200 lol. You deserve to be paid aha

#

Is there vinyl options at all? Or just engraving

round shell
#

Just engraving currently. The case is a beauty though. I’d recommend receiving it first, if you want to add engraving after you’ve seen it, the option is there

twin terrace
#

4080 super would be roughly 20% better at 4K

round shell
#

Very good

wanton vale
#

Sweet appreciate that guys I'll order that tomorrow night!

round shell
#

Good man, I look forward to seeing it setup

wanton vale
#

yeah starforge are rip offs!

I can't wait either I'll post a update in here when it's all here set up

Oh 100% I'll do a review.. better specs for your cash compared to alot I've seen. Which is all we gamers want

#

And you get one of the best warranty + CS options available worldwide

#

Indeed. I'll get it quicker too!

If you’re itching for delivery you can skip the queue with the priority service, you can get the pc in 3 or 5 days depending on what options are available. Standard customs are around 7 days

wanton vale
#

I can wait. Just better then coming from usa

wanton vale
#

Just a quick question would this be a better system for the price compared to the 2500 one you customised or will I be better off with the one you done.

The CPU is better on this one, however the cooler doesn’t have the LCD you want and I don’t believe all the fans will be RGB or fill out the case. You also have slightly slower ram (really won’t make a difference)

#

The one I sent had the LCD cooler, the cpu is still very good for gaming and editing etc, however not quite as good as the one above

#

For a matter of aesthetic preference, slightly better cooling and customisation the one I sent would be a better choice. However if you’re focused on getting the most performance the pre builds are always a great option

wanton vale
#

Appreciate your breakdown. I'll stick with one you suggested. Could difference be like 10.fps I think I'll be okay missing out 😆

#

Buying tn with fast shipping ;p decided I don't want to wait up to 2 weeks

round shell
#

I look forward to seeing you all setup and upgraded 🙌🏼

wanton vale
#

Same. It comes built? Or do I need to do it myself

twin terrace

Sweet saves me the job. Normally I buy parts first time having it built for me. I just hope they do good with the wires and its not messy

twin terrace
wanton vale
#

Good to hear I'll be ordering tonight. Counting the hours 🫠

#

Any suggestions on a 4k monitor if your allowed about 300-350

round shell
#

For 350 you probably won’t get the best 4k monitor. I’d go for a high refresh 1440p

wanton vale
#

I could go 400.

#

How good is that cooler master. I've seen mixed reviews

icy sirenBOT
#

cprgbglitch :tada: Congrats @wanton vale, you levelled up to 3! :tada: cprgbglitch

wanton vale
#

The 500 one

twin terrace
#

Blacks are a little meh but it's what you get with a VA panel

wanton vale
#

4k?

twin terrace
#

1440P

wanton vale
#

I mean the 4k 500 cooler master.

twin terrace
#

Send me a link the photos above are all 1440p ones

#

Personally if you want high fps and good graphics 1440p is the way forward

wanton vale
#

So you would suggest 2k over the 4k.

#

Even though it says 200 off its a lie they retail for the price they got it for lol

twin terrace
wanton vale
#

Yeah they sell for same price.. but u would suggest 2k over 4k?

twin terrace
#

Personally yeah.

#

Are you getting the 4070 ti super?

#

Cause if you are you will get 60 to just above 100fps at 4k whereas at 1440p you will get a constant 144 or higher

wanton vale
#

4080 super the 2500 machine that ant posted

#

Wouldn't I be able to drop red to 2k for some games have dls pick up the slack of the resolution

twin terrace
#

Like you can still play 4k but you won't be hitting 144hz like most people want to

#

So if you're fine with that go for it 😁

#

Then you can always drop to 2k. It would just save you a few hundred on the monitor if you got a 1440p one

round shell
#

Yup, you just wanna make sure it’s a 144hz monitor if you’re gaming really

#

But res can be adjusted for the games where it struggles to get up there

loud shoal
#

Native res looks better than non native

#

If you are going to play 1440p for most of your titles, get a 1440p monitor

wanton vale
#

Ahhh decisions decisions man. Think ima get a 2k then. Glad I asked tbh.

twin terrace
#

144hz without breaking the bank

loud shoal
#

+1

loud shoal
#

I would argue there are better value monitors

#

let me try find one

#

this has amazing value

#

Its IPS, 180hz and 1440p

round shell
#

The ones I recommended are your best value for cost

#

The ASUS one would be my go to also

wanton vale
#

Good quality picture?

loud shoal
#

Better than VA so yeah

round shell
#

Has a nice display to it, the refresh rate will be nice for the eyes too

wanton vale
#

Okay sweet saves me money aswell that. So I don't need free sync etc

#

Sorry g sync

round shell
#

Yeah you’d want that off even if you had it tbh lol

loud shoal
#

You will beable to use GSYNC without it beign gsync certified

#

its gsync compatible

wanton vale
#

Sweet okay appreciate you guys! Very helpful

loud shoal
#

No worries

round shell
#

Look forward to seeing it 🙌🏼

wanton vale
#

Same one last thing 🤣 for a 3rd monitor for chat this would do right cheap and turns

#

Was a extra 57

#

Ahh nvm it won't allow me to pick 2 different ones.

loud shoal
#

You can order some goodies on the gear store after

icy sirenBOT
#
Gear Store
round shell
#

Once a customer you will be able to upgrade individual parts down the line also. Prices are very competitive if not unbeaten.

wanton vale
#

sweet im thinking of spending the extra 28 for this think it will fill out the case nicer?

loud shoal
#

I would go h150i 360 and spend the budget on a better mobo (tomahawk)

wanton vale
#

i was looking at that i just wana round it to 2900

#

also there no option for me fot hat one

icy sirenBOT
#

cprgbglitch :tada: Congrats @wanton vale, you levelled up to 4! :tada: cprgbglitch

wanton vale
round shell
#

The AIO would be a good touch

#

360mm always preferable for the beefier CPU’s anyway. Keeping them cool maximises performance

wanton vale
#

i was thinking the aio to fill the case out more

round shell
#

A good idea. Absolutely go for it

wanton vale
#

done!

round shell
#

We’ll have the same AIO!

wanton vale
#

oooooooooo see i was also thinking white or black

#

love the colour btw!

#

My current one

round shell
#

Match the colour with the case and GPU, black in this instance

round shell
#

That is a funky PC! Not sure if I’m familiar with the case though

wanton vale
#

She done me well 4 years old

round shell
#

Just about the right time to upgrade then, 4-6 years is when you start getting the itch

wanton vale
#

Inwin I swapped it for a aztec open case with 200 cash on top. Was over heating in open one

round shell
#

😂😂 you’ll have none of that with this one

wanton vale
#

Yeah I started the itch last year. Glad to finally do it. To think I went from 2.3 to 2.9

#

Honestly can't wait did the 99 shipping 😜

round shell
#

If may make a recommendation for your benefit.

I have removed the NZXT H6 and added the O11 Vision.

I have removed the H100i (2 fan) and replaced with the H150i (3 fan). I have also added 4x more Corsair fans to fill the case out.

The reason this will benefit you is all fans in the case will be the same, so controlling your RGB + fan speeds can be controlled on iCue, rather than NZXT software AND iCue
