What budget do you have in mind?
around what im at now
7800X3D is the fastest CPU for gaming, do you want to stick with the 7950X?
And any potential for the 7900XTX? (You lose out on Nvidia benefits, but it is cheaper than the 4080 Super and faster and some people don't take advantage of them)
Now you are using 1080p - would you rather go 1440p or are you focusing on eSports titles

Unless you state otherwise, I don't think 48GB is needed or useful, the benefits of 6000mhz are tangible and potentially more useful to you.

I changed the case as the vision can't support all of the fans, that's no issue, but the H9 was only £1 more.
4080 super!
thank you very much i appreciate the changes you made and will take them into consideration looking to sell my pc first for someof the money then ill be buying it
:tada: Congrats @trim gust, you levelled up to 1! :tada:
so gives me some time to decide what im gonna go for
Yeah, the main thing is 1080p
I would highly recommend sparing some of the PC budget for a monitor
That combined will be life-changing
i have a benq zowie monitor as my main
i am actually quite confused about ram i tried to do some research about it but the motherboards say compatibvle with 4800mhz so thats why i chose lower
It's quite confusing to be fair,
5200MHZ is the if it doesn't work at this speed, it's bad type speed, AMD recommends 6000MHZ for the 7800x3d though
That being said CPUK stress test systems to try show any instabilities, and the system being sent out will be stable
ahhh right that makes sense
also i would be happy with less fans to have the lian li case would i just go with 4?
So the AIO has 3 fans
That's the side mount,
The bottom fits 3
And the rear fits two
One extra spare fan, however, I feel the H9 will offer better airflow, all comes down to preference
i was gonna say the h9 does look better in terms of airflow
Some people really dig the top glass on the Vision
I do too
what about ssd as well does the read speed from samsung show a giant difference or is it not very noticable
Personally I just stuck in the SN850X as... I have that drive
It's just the go to for me
H9 seems better in terms of practicality but lian li is 100% a better visually
You won't notice any difference between the two
ok ok ill stick with the cheaper then 🤣
That's up to you to make that choice! Both cases will be fine with temps
hmm too many decisions ahah
:tada: Congrats @trim gust, you levelled up to 2! :tada:
It's a difficult balance I find. We need more options I say, then one second later I can't choose! 😂
yeah lol well i think ill stick with the lian li case take less fans and not sure on the cpu and gpu yet
thats tomorrows problem
and i appreciate all of your help
tysm
No worries! Brilliant thing about discord support as anyone can chip in and voice their opinion
yeah helps when you get people who know more about this stuff than i do
So you should get the best specs possible
Ay, welcome to the PC club ❤️
ty ty have a nice night ❤️
You too!
@trim gust If you're all sorted can you use the Thank command please? We're trialling a new system😁
You have thanked @grim cloak for this thread!
Lian Li is a solid case, would echo the 6000 MHz RAM, I have a WD Black SN850X NVMe drive and it's the business, also have a 4080 super GPU and it just kills anything thrown at it
Yeah definitely keeps the lian li with 6000 mhz ram
Lowered the fans to 4
Possibly sticking with the 4070ti super cause It seems as though that is fast enough for what I’m needing
4080 super is great but my main game is valorant so would be a bit too much
Get the 70ti super and potentially invest in a better monitor
nah. 4080 super AND monitor
If his main game is Val, 7900xtx personally
4080 feels a little overkill for valorant lol
but thank you all for the help
Yeah, no worries dude!
4080 Super is 100% overkill, but some people like having it 🙂
true true
I lurv my 4080 super. So glad I held back for a few weeks, even though my default setting is "super impatient"
