If you switched the cable, and it can't do it, it's probably the cable
danggggggggggg, because I am 90% sure my pc only has 1 hmdi cable
I mean it has 2
but one of them just doesnt work for some reason
wait
is there a reason why one of my hdmi ports isn't working?
HDMI port on the motherboard?
oh nah like seperate, (Sorry I am not very tech savy) but I've got 2 hmdi ports
and well, I have a drawing tablet which also uses a hdmi port and I always had to switch
Yeah
dang so is there no way of making it work?
Are all the ports on the GPU being used?
I am currently using the 2 on the left
Left being my drawing tablet and the monitor being the second one
Why not use the display port options?
display port?
Yes
That would fix your issues if you don't use HDMI I would think
The tablet doesn't need DP
Sadly I can't use those for my tablet because they are both specifically hdmi
and the other cable that I am using now is for the second ones
that being for the screen that is
I'm not sure then, display port allows for higher resolutions and refreshrate
as in the three? or the hdmi
Display port is better
display port being the one with the sign?
Yeah
because I started using one of the tree
and 2k and 4k aint evne popping up
And it was previously
Depends on what version the display port cable is
ahh.. I just have the one from cyberpower pc
So the port is called just "display port"?
oh how do i figure that out?
Yeah I'll have a look ðŸ˜
sadly it doesnt
I dont even have 1440p
best odds getting a new cable/
do you think this would be fine?
Do you think that'll do the trick?
Yeah DP 2.1 is very good
But I'm not 100% sure if it is the cable causing 2k/4k to not show?
hmm
what else could it be?
Not sure the cable is the only thing that makes sense for me 😅
It works when using HDMI?
mhm
Yeah I don't see what else it could be other than the DP cable not being the right version then
goooh figured it out
its in hdr
but how much is 1440p
again
How much?
2560? x 1440 right?
oh yeah
Thats weird my HDR doesn't get rid of my resolution and hertz
stays the same for me maybe my cable is really good
cant remember which one I bought lol
wait
I have a weird issue
my 2k looks slightly more crustier than usual
crustier?
like slightly more pixelated than I remember
