pc won’t turn on

Hi there my brothers pc won’t turn on i reset cmos battery and put it back in and turned on the pc and I get no power then after I tried testing the power supply with a paper clip and I got power but when I put all the cables back in I still get no power can someone help me please ?

You may be having a “me” moment, just to confirm the PSU switch is turned to “ON”?

Why did you do the CMOS reset?

Might point us in the right direction

You will have to trouble shoot to find out what it is

You've ruled out the PSU, as the paper clip test proved that it's getting power. Next, I would say try tripping the power button on your board to see if the power button is the issue #
