So I've done some research myself and I've done a DDU because of the nvldd dll thing I've successfully done a DDU in safe mode and installed the Studio Driver for my system because it's more stable I've heard.
Restarted my system and checked the event viewer again and these are showing now. Do I gotta worry about these ?
:tada: Congrats @thorn fog, you levelled up to 7! :tada:
I’ll be honest, I’d take anything Event Viewer tells you with a grain of salt, most of it doesn’t matter
If your screens suddenly go black, that could be a GPU / connection from PC to the monitor issue, Have you checked the cables?
I can't help with this outside of a DDU, but you have already done that, which it appears to have solved your issue. Would be a great help if you can tell me what you were doing, like in a game or just desktop? What GPU do you have and what driver version?
Yeah sorry guys I ended up just doing loads of tests on my own end. I think the processor warnings I'm getting is because MSI Centre is overriding the windows power plan settings. Some information about my system will be below because I'm not sure what I was doing to make the initial black screen issue come around I mainly just play War Thunder.
I've got MSI Centre and iCue installed on the system also which I'm not sure if that causes issues because sometimes iCue tries to take control of some of the lights on the rig and then sometimes MSI Centre tries to take control of other lights lol
MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7D32)
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900K
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti
Driver version : 31.0.15.4633
I basically just need to wait now and see if my system does the black screen thing because if not then I have no issues with the system now. Not really sure how this driver/dll failed in the first place
I doubt it will because I think this is a driver issue with the .56 or whatever it is
But a DDU will fix that
Yeah perfect then cheers guys, I've done a DDU and it worked pretty fine. Nothing like having a mad sweaty panic at stupid hours in the morning
