#New PC, issue with fans

Hi,
Received my Cyberpower PC today. I'm having issues with the case fans. They seem to be running at 100% and do not throttle back after the PC posts and Windows starts up. The BIOS doesn't seem to detect the case fans, displaying N/A with no RPM shown. Changing the fan profiles in the BIOS seems to have no effect.

I have checked inside for obviously loose or detached cables. The PC posts and boots normally.

Motherboard: ASUS B660M-K D4
Case: Lian-Li Lancool 216 with the standard 2x RGB front fan 1x rear fan, CPU with air cooler connected to the motherboard CPU fan header

The motherboard case fan header has nothing connected to it and no loose wire that would suggest it was supposed to have something connected to it. I don't know if that's a red herring with this set-up or not. It's many years since I fiddled with PCs.

Help appreciated

I’ve emailed support, hopefully they can help with this.

There is a hub at the back with a system fan header that connects to the motherboard, follow that wire.

Thanks! Only just saw your message but this is exactly what it turned out to be. For some reason that fan header cable had been looped back and connected to one of the fan hub fan connectors instead of to the motherboard. It was confusing because until I undid the cables and traced them, it just looked like a fan cable and not obviously wrong. All working now.
