i have a dell G5 15 rtx 2060 laptop. it can run 144fps but then sometimes it just gets capped at 30fps mid game. Anyone know a fix?

Most of the time the ventiliation holes will be located underneath it yeah,

Apparently in the BIOS you'll have thermal settings

Does it seem to stay constantly at 30 when it happens? I wonder if it's some kind of power saving setting that's kicking in. Is your laptop on charge when it happens or running on battery?
