Download speed intially rises to ~170 Mbps when I plug it in but then after some time drops to about 30. Not sure what the problem is. The brand is Jedel but the manufacturer is realtek. Says 600 Mbps and I'm on windows 11 if that means anything.

switched which usb it was in and suddenly it went back up

Not sure what you mean, but the router itself is fine, my faltmates dont seem to have this problem

i bought a prebuilt one because I dont know a lot about computer science. Not sure if or how I can put one in

Thats fine; I wouldn't have any fix for that though, apart from maybe plugging it in the front, that helped me a few years ago
