https://amzn.eu/d/h0Zx2pm very good and decent price for the specs you got, actually very good bargain
Will this run most games?
Pretty much, it's very good at 1080p high/ultra setting can manage most 1440p med settings
@hoary turtle Could you build me one off the cyber power website similar to this? I saw one with AMD Ryzen 7 5700x and 3050 graphics card
Well I tried to build it I’ll link it in a minute

Don’t know why it removed my changes
Why would you want a 3050? You basically drop lots of performance there
Some games are very intensive. GTA and siege aren’t so with that budget it’s possible, but be warned with newer titles, like warzone, it might be harder to run
I’ll go with 1100 as the budget just because it gives more head room. And £900 for a pc isn’t a huge budget

Found a really good next day system with a 4060ti

Arguably, the only “lack luster” part of this pc is the cpu cooler. But that’ll be sufficient to keep the cpu cool anyway
If you wanted to go cheaper, i believe theres one at 900 which is pretty good also
It lacks a lot of storage. But thats easy enough to add yourself. A hard drive or sata ssd would do for extra storage

Getting a custom one under budget is hard. The next days offer better price to performance so id recommend one of those
@brisk trail hi, sorry for the late reply. Do o need the 40 series? Can’t I go lower and upgrade the cpu?
In terms of gaming, you want a better gpu than cpu. As long as the cpu boosts high enough for the gpu to reach 100% usage, then thats all you need. Unless you’re doing purposefully cpu intensive tasks
90% of games are gpu intensive
So if I’m not going for a custom build which one would you recommend? For games like gta, warzone and siege
And with next day pc’s, parts aren’t changeable unfortunately
Would I be better with AMD or Intel
Id recommend the one with a 4060ti (however its £1099 so its right at the end of your budget)
Honestly. Both are fine. Its more preference
In terms of speed? How fast would an Intel i5 be with 4060ti? If that makes sense? I got told it’s very slow
The 13400f is a really good cpu. 10 cores at a decently high speed
Should boost high enough for the 4060ti
As an example, I have a Ryzen 5 5600x paired with a 3070
My gpu hits 100% usage in 90% of games and my cpu sits at most, 50% usage which is absolutely fine
Does the Ryzen 5 5600x and 3070 run most games fine?
If so would that be a good option
I don’t believe they have any options for that, just because the 3070 and 5600x is EOL
And in terms of performance, I can run Hogwarts Legacy, 1440p, high settings at around 90-140fps depending on the area
(Hogwarts legacy just being an example of a new game)
The 4060ti likely has better performance than a 3070. And I also believe the 13400f is faster than a 5600x
I’ll double check

This is the one I built.
It’s just he’s autistic and breaks thing and we don’t want to waste money for him to break if it happens if that makes sense, it’s like a trail and effor thing
You could get away with w cheaper cpu
The 3050 isn’t a massively powerful gpu. And the 5700x is better than my cpu
CPU
Damn auto correct 😂
Is that one I built not good?
Its a very good system. You could just make a couple changes
I edited a couple parts. Went with a lesser cpu as the 5700x is overkill for that gpu. And went with a better motherboard and faster ram. Faster ram helps a lot with ryzen cpus because of the extra bandwidth

Its a touch cheaper. But other than that, its a brilliant starter system
The 3050 is meant for 1080p, at maybe medium settings
But might take some adjustments in settings to maximise fps whilst keeping the graphics good
Okay thank you, as long as it runs most games smoothly that’s great
👍
What budget would you say it good? Sorry for been a pain
Would £1200 be a good start?
£1200 would he a really nice budget. Its trying to push for those slightly better components
Let’s go with £1200 then
Limiting factors when it comes to a budget like that, would be like, sacrificing having more storage, to go for a better gpu
Ah okay but that can always be added later on right?
Yeah
Storage is super easy to add
And you can always find storage elsewhere, on sale etc
Okay thanks, could you suggest one for 1200 please

Its more amd based. But offers really good performance. Has 2tb of storage as well as 32gb of faster ram
The RX 7600 (gpu) is between the performance of a 3060 and 3070
Closer to the performance of a 3060ti from what i can gather
It’ll run better than the other one
Also, its newer hardware
Like the other one
The £1099 one and this one are very similar in performamce so its upto you
Would u say it’s a solid first computer? And how hot does it run? Won’t overheat?
Oh you sent 2 sorry didn’t see the first one
Wait nvm
Actually, id recommend the one at £1099. The 4060ti offers better performance than the AMD GPU
Which one is that sorry?

Has less storage and some other components are slightly downgraded. But the core components are better
Its upto you if to go for one with better core components, or one thats more balanced (in terms of all the components)
See I had an i5 and it was shocking so would it be a problem?
What i5 did you have?
The newer generations are really good
The 13400f has 10 cores and 16 threads
My cpu has 6 cores and 12 threads
Faster than mine
I’m very not knowledgeable haha
Its fine 😂
Newer gen cpus offer a lot of performance
Most people look at i5 vs i7 and automatically think that the i5 is a lot worse
When you look into specifics, they’re quite similar
See I have an i9 shah
And okay thank you, would u say got for the upgraded gpu and cpu components build? Over the overall one
Id say the one with the 13400f and 4060ti is the best
Nah. The 13400f doesn’t produce a lot of heat. And the 4060ti will have a decent cooler which you can change the fan speed etc
Should run most games at 1080p/1440p at medium/high settings
Thanks I appreciate it
Np 👍
I’ll suggest this one
In my build I have the i9 and 30 series ahha
And it runs hot hot
The i9s can run quite hot
See I have a water coolant but doesn’t seem to make a difference
On the build you’d suggest, is it the ram speed and hard dive speed downwards graded?
The ram speed is 5200mhz which is faster than my current ram (which is 3200mhz)
And the ssd speed is 3500MB/s read, and 2500MB/s
Both of which are faster than mine
My ssd is 2400MB/s read and 1950MB/s write
Okay thanks I just didn’t know what was downgraded
They’re slightly downgraded
The biggest difference is the ram speed. But thats just because my ram is DDR4 and the other is DDR5 which are different generations
What cpu do you have, and also what cpu cooler?

You went with a premium cooler. So it’s could be any reason
Try a stress test and see what the temps get too. Those cpus can run into the 90s and still be okay. The 13900k pulls a lot of power so it will run hot
It’s just one if those cpus
Okay thank you I’ll do a stress test
This is what my computer reads when I’m on out last trails
Sorry that’s blurry
Yeah, it won’t clear 😂
Those temps are absolutely fine
80 for a gpu is fine, and 70-80 for the cpu is also really good
Yeah. Those temps are ace
Honestly. You only need to worry when they start to hit around 90
If they ever hit 90, try increasing fan rpm and then go from there
Okay thank you I appreciate it
What stress was this those are good temps I'm a bit jealous, was this a prime95 for the CPU
This wasn’t a stress test, i was just using an app to see the temps normal and while running a new game, “out last trails”
I shall do a stress test today and post it
:tada: Congrats @main onyx, you levelled up to 11! :tada:
Looks fine. Cpu temps and gpu were 75 or 76 which is absolutely fine
