lol

#

anyways

#

as we said your ram usage is fine

#

yeah so its fine

#

first of all why want to lower that

merry plume
#

Have a look at what is using the most ram and just close the process

#

Don't worry so much

ruby yarrow
#

I saw a screenshot of your processes and nothing is using way to much ram, just collectively using alot, so its probably fine

#

Send a screenshot of the processes

#

all the way down

#

huh

merry plume
#

Click on the 82% to sort by usage and show what is at the top

I would maybe give your system a restart - not a shutdown, to do a clean boot

merry plume
#

It all adds up

#

Restart is a cleaner boot

#

Shutdown isn't as effective

ruby yarrow
#

You can disable fast boot to do the same

#

I think anyways

Just ask ChatGPT

merry plume
#

tbf, Windows and other software is all greedy af, if there is RAM there then it'll try and use it

ruby yarrow
#

What sticks do you have?

merry plume
#

Don't worry

ruby yarrow
#

I would probably blame icue for that

#

In your c drive you should have a file called restore icue

#

its either in the CPUK folder or just in the c:

#

thats should work

#

Regarding the ram I wouldn't worry about it unless you are at like 100% and you are running out of ram, cause that shouldn't happen with 64gb unless doing something really ram intensive

#

Maybe check your startup apps and disable any you don't need

ruby yarrow
#

@normal current Also would like to apologize if I came off rude 😭 I just read what I said and that wasn't helpful

#

Might just be worth doing that restart, is this normal or has it just happened today?

#

I mean you could do a memory test to fill it all up and see what happens

#

That looks hella fishy kek I'll send u the link if you want

#

Ah well yeah

#

Might of just been windows

#

if you do feel the ram creeping up again and again after shut downs you can disable fast boot

ruby yarrow
#

Yeah, you do have alot of ram though so might go a bit higher

#

although minecraft has its own set allocation

#

Basically before the ages of ssds windows would just cache stuff to make your system boot faster

#

Now its very negligable

#

👍

#

yeah

#

one saves it to the modules itself and one is software

#

I think lighting effects just keeps the profile without icue open

#

Corsair couldn't of made a worse RGB software kek - Setting up my rgb was a huge pain

#

Use icue, I don't like third party rgb software

#

you could use your motherboard software but I actually never done that

#

Once you get it going just close icue and never open it up again 😂

#

Do you have your motherboard software installed?

#

Guessing like mystic light?

#

Top right theres a settings icon - click that then take a screenshot

#

Argh I forgot, let me just search online, sorry

#

No I think it should be hardware lighting

#

Do you have that set to white? - lighting effects

#

Right you have mystic light

#

Its taking priority

#

hold on I did this but I forgot

#

oh

#

Mystic light does the same rgb thing as icue

There should be a priority thing in the software, I haven't installed icue on this computer so I really don't know :/ I'll leave it up to someone thats sure about it
