i'd reinstall your NVIDIA driver
:one: Download the driver for your GPU from the manufacturer's website using the links below, but don't install them yet.
:two: Download the latest version of DDU by clicking the button below, clicking on the top post which is called "Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) VXX.X.X.X Released", and clicking ***Official Download Here*** in that post.
:three: Disconnect from the Internet by unplugging your ethernet cable or turning off WiFi in the bottom-right corner.
:four: Open the program you just downloaded, choose a location for DDU to be saved, then click Extract
:five: Open the Start Menu, click the power icon then hold Shift on your keyboard and click Restart. Once your PC has restarted, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart, and press 4 to load into safe mode.
:six: Find the folder you extracted DDU into and open Display Driver Uninstaller.
:seven: On the right side, select the type as GPU, and the brand as the manufacturer of your GPU. Then, click 'Clean and Restart'.
:eight: Once you have loaded back into Windows, install the GPU drivers you downloaded earlier. Once they have installed, connect back to the Internet.
Will give this a go thanks. Just strange as I’ve used this driver for a while and had no issues, and suddenly having issues.
Getting a few errors to so will try this tonigut
Will update you tonight, I know my 3d mark yesterday was saying about a timing measurement inconsistency but I did it again and it provided me with a legit result.
Drivers will corrupt. Its just how it is unfortunately
No luck
I think something is knackered
My vram maybe?
If it is my card since it’s a new machine you reckon I can get it sorted?
Cyberpunk seems to run but doesn’t look as visually good but performance seemed to be there.
And I know last night when I was on hogwarts legacy I noticed I didn’t have the same level of performance and the game also doesn’t look as good as it did.
If your card had an issue with VRAM. You'd be seeing quite obvious signs. Also applications wouldn't even launch
I am getting a decent score on 3d mark which is certainly odd
Like 29-31k
Yesterday had some errors on it to do with timining and that.
Sorry will look into it more tonigut, just get so nervous when something goes wrong lol.
An example is I had been using nvidia dlaa on hogwarts too as it looked better, and I was getting good fps, and yesterday I was getting 64 so had to change to dlss
Thanks for your support so far though it is appreciated and will do further testing tonight
Are there any good tests to test the cards functionality?
Will also try deleting windows dx shader cache
Just a bit of a coincidence how I had an issue with hogwarts and rdr2 with performance and errors.
Could be a coincidence with the hogwarts patch and a patch for rdr2.
Will show some pictures of gpu usage, clock speed and power consumption when I am home, as that could indicate something is not right.
