This is actually a pretty promising game. The style helps it from blending in with the rest, but you ought to have some new/unique gameplay mechanics to prevent it from being just another FPS.
i fr would play this if it has cool mechanics so its not js a simple bland shooter
Just do everyone and favour and don’t enable bots in public lobbies makes the game instantly slop
Weird gun game was so good until they added bots

I have another game very similar called one tap, currently has 6k players. Games like this do pretty well, only difference is one tap is a sniper only fps
Unfortunately likely gonna keep bots, they help alot with keeping high qptr, retention and playtime
Stats are everything when it comes to the algorithm

Games fail otherwise, most the players in those fps games are kids so yea

Absolutely keep bots, without them there is almost no way to start a competitive multiplayer game
yea the way i set them up in One Tap is that they replace empty player slots
when a player joins, the bot gets replaced
if they leave, they come back
make a gamemode where u can vote on no bot fill ins and bot fill ins
I would say that they should be mandatory until hatless reaches whatever ccu he thinks is best to remove them. You could also set server priority to maximizing each so you don’t end up with really small servers
Very smart, especially for a game requiring multiple players to have the intended experience
There really isn't a good ccu to remove them. Regardless bots help with playtime and retention most
I don't plan to make an option to remove bots, they are just too important to keep game stats up, I think my version of having bots replace players is the best balance between them
The original reason why we did it was so empty servers didn't feel empty, but it serves other uses too
