#why does roblox not let me use an animation Id my friend made?

everytime my friend gives me an anim he made, I try and put it into animation and it says " 22:36:52.118 Failed to load animation. User is not authorized to access asset. - Studio" like wtf. roblox IK ITS NOT MINE, BUT HOW DO I USE IT IF MY FRIEND LITERALLY GAVE IT TO ME

your friend needs to give you permission to use it - this permission is not given solely by saying here's the animation id, they need to configure it on their roblox dashboard - or you can publish the animation yourself. lots of kids call this animation spoofing.

yeah you edit permissions on the asset - in this case an animation

they would have to edit theirs and add you or your group to permission

#

coz you obviously cannot add yourself to other people's assets
