Based off of 'Flatland' written By Edwin Abbott. (1884)
Story's a violent action thriller about a boy named Henry Abbott (Son of the Book's author) who has a guardian/friend named Teresa, who was gifted by Henry's father as a result of his research. Henry's dad's research revolved around the 4th dimension and he spent years trying to find out if life resided outside our plane of existence.
(For the creatures at first I thought of the name 'Prisimorph' but then switched it up to 'Tetramorph'(Tetra meaning four in Greek). Tetramorphs are intelligent 4th dimensional, pack-based predatory creatures, going upface to one is basically having your fate sealed. Teresa was the result of him successfully domesticating one, and Only one. Basically up to Henry and Tess to hunt these things down
Other Tetramorphs (like the policeman and soldier) tend to actively hunt/stalk humans, causing them to take on a humanoid form
Like a form of biomimicry
Brainstormed way too much
Warden/Policemen are a monarch-oriented species
kinda like ants
or bees
Warden's designed to look like a Panopticon watchtower
