Mesh part made out of multiple layers of planes into GUI
It looks cool.
and yeah this is how you do it. it's something many people have added before
Cool
it makes it difficult to work with lighting like this, it increases color banding and in that color banding it would make random tints of other colors
blue sky? nah, desaturated slightly greener sky
You just have to up transparency and work around it. It doesn’t really makes sense to use it for out door environments during the day and more so interior stuff.
it literally limits the color range
it makes games look shit
indoors or outdoors
doesn't matter
Just depends on how you use it and how much you have the transparency on. I’ve had no problems when using it aside from the darker values not being as intense and little color stuff around the light (which looks cool).
can't you just use the already made sunray effect"?
Nah it’s not the same.
isn't the lowest transparency like 0.995?
you can't put transparency at 0.999
at the lowest it still looks bad
im pretty sure the one im using is at the lowest
Yeah you can???
Also it can be how u make the mesh too probably.
I mean idk personally I’ve had no problems with the volumetric lighting thing.
after that would technically be 1
Even if you type it in?
Idk I’m not near my pc atm but I don’t recall that being the limit. I would be wrong tho.
Ok
oh wait no, i was a bit wrong
0.996 isnt the limit but 0.997 has like way less effect
like a huge jump
0.9965 isn't possible because roblox said so
Light bounce using light parts.
Not rlly. My 7 year old laptop runs it at 50-60fps when not recording.
I’d imagine it being bad for big maps tho.
there are certain requirements you need to have to get a constant 60 fps that some people cannot afford
Yeah true. I mean the one I have is a low budget gaming pc that’s almost full in storage and other things but yeah.
