In all seriousness Factorio can help you get the mindset that you need for scripting, other than that its just learning the luau syntax

i do own factorio but never played it

or, well, never played it that much

There's your problem. Learn how to play and over time translating your ideas into automated process becomes easy

The biggest part of programming in my opinion is knowing how to break an idea down into smaller steps

What kind of tutorials you watched?

mostly just stuff on the basics, but they all kinda sucked for the most part so i couldnt really grasp it

i learn better when i have someone teach me
