How would a modeler or a scripter be able to climb up the leaderboard? Your suggestion sounds nice but you need to elaborate on how you envision it if you want upvotes.

in these circumstances there can never be a definitive rating truly, not only will this cause unnecessary toxicity, but whos to say the #5 scripter is any better than the #1 scripter? its all subjective

To take someone's place you LB battle them and a LB Judge decides the winner

I feel like the "toxicity" that both you and @forest dagger are talking about is much more of a personal problem than an objective one

We will have clear LB judges who can differentiate between who is better, which helps them put people at #1 and #5

Toxicity is simply not an objective reason to deny this at all

Beyond basics, its very very hard to definitely say if someone is better or worse than another person at some skill. Skills have many facets and no test or competition can perfectly gauge every facet of your skills

Everyone is capable and susceptible to being toxic or rude. Being in a situation that puts them above another person (even in a meaningless internet points way) can bring that out of the best of people
