Regional pricing via currency is an attempt to allow people to set prices in respect to incomes instead of exchange rates; benefitting those less well off and allowing them access to in game purchases for a more palatable amount.

But I guess roblox vastly overestimated the charitability of its userbase if the first thing yall think of is just to charge chinese players more.
