the data stores manager basically allows developers to easily view, manage, and analyze their game data, (e.g., player information and its usage.)
for those who don't understand what this means. i tried to put it in a simplified way.

in fact, it's somewhat large, the more data you have to load and save for each player, the more it can impact game performance. additionally, roblox has data store size and request limits. which means that storing too much data per player can hit those limits quickly, ESPECIALLY for games with many players.

what the others said, it should be enough to save ingame player info, and other things (like datalogs how you said) could very reasonably be offloaded to personal storage or the like by your own hand if you need them That bad

I think it might be good cuz:
- it uses less resources for the games that dont have players, while giving more resources if u have players,
- makes some people optimize their datastore, like this one on the image
- still 100mb as a base is a lot even with a bad designed and messy datastore
