the texturing unfortunately does not work with meshes 3:
only because i do not have an ID as ridiculous as it is and sounds
sure hold on
not very well
its quite slow
its running at 336x192 i dont have any multithreading
for some reason it runs slightly faster while unfocused
so i just unfocus it when im rendering
@frigid pecan here it is
the reason why the green bricks have one grey brick is cuz the texture is colored with grey bricks
theyre just textures i got off of ambientcg
Aah sick. Where does the curve come from?
Cool effect tho
but it just rotates the ray based on where it is on the grid
eh it can be pretty annoying sometimes
i still need to implement light scattering
so the scene has a bit more light
i might try making a system where i have just a list of positions where light is bouncing
and just have them act as sort of mini light sources
and just make points in the list
but it might be pretty buggy
why did i think it was runnable
if it looks good and its in roblox, its not able to be run in real time lmao
add multithreading and its gonna be runnable at like 10 fps lmfao
ik, its just confusing on how to do it, the roblox documentation is terrible
also roblox uses like 7 percent of my cpu for some reason
and refuses to use more with the single threaded stuff
oh wait nvm
thats actually how much it should use
that means its using all of one core
every time ive tried it though and got a result said result was just freezing
easy
instead of a loop
add a function and call it for each pixel
heavy cpu impact rho
